I ordered this for my Silkie coop. It was constructed of quality materials and a quality coating iver the metal. all 3 components went together relatively easy with the included Allen wrench.Once together it worked as described and is a rock solid piece of hardware.That being said, after almost a week, I still can not get my chickens to actually use the automatic feeder machine. Even though Bantam size, the hens weight enough to open the lid when stepping on the trip bar and they can also reach into the food bin to get food when standing on the trip-lever. I know because I made them get in it and eat from inside it for hours, trying to get them to eating from it on their own. I had to leave their old feed device in the coop due to this, even after days of leaving them with both. Maybe it's just my chickens or their Bantam size but, it isn't really working for me. That's a shame because it keeps the feed very safe and dry outdoors when the lid is down.For this reason, I have to leave my honest review as only 2 stars. Those two being for great quality and ease of assembly.
