This is the only waterer that we have purchased that hasn't leaked into our button quails inclosure it's easy to clean and fill and they can reach it 10/10.

I like the fact that the water container can be on the ground, flat for smaller’s checks, and raised with the feet underneath for the larger text to keep the bedding out of it

Just right for DIY brooder and 6 new chicks, plus the adjustable legs on the waterer will help as the chicks grow. Ordered second set for brooder number two.

They work if youre in a pinch but if you have time order something more sturdy. The chicks throw bedding into the water and knock it over once they learn to hop which only takes a couple weeks

I purchased this again bc it is so much better than what is available at farm supply stores. The water station is top notch and doesn’t leak… it has adjustable legs to grow with your chicks! Chicks/chickens can be messy and even with a clean coop and brooder they will kick bedding and food into their water causing it to clog or leak if it is too low. The food station is great too bc with the top down/screw on lid it is more efficient & keeps chicken from knocking off the lid and pooping in their food. Definitely worth the price!

My chicks liked to climb on all their feeding equipment. The legs on the water dish was the reason I bought this set. Unfortunately, my chicks weight would offset one leg or another and it would collapse, spilling water everywhere. I even tried setting a cup under it to make it more sturdy. It worked to a degree but I had to block it in place even with the cup.It is easy to clean but the design lets it get clogged with bedding very easily.

Overall, feels sturdy and good value for my needs. If you get this for quail chicks, it's a good size even for one day old hatchlings, just remember to put pebbles in the waterer. Nothing major, but the holes of the feeder are a bit big and the angle at which the food falls is a bit steeper; meaning food level is higher than needed causing food to fall out easily when chicks or other birds peck in it.Update: I decided to put a piece of rolled paper in the reservoir, let it exceed about 1/4 inch of the bottom and it works just fine to hold the feed at the right level. Too bad I had to do this myself to make it work (no more mess), but it's an easy adjustment.
