Works great. I haven't had a failed print yet. I have been printing up a storm. Wish the fans were a bit quieter though. I wanted something simple and easy to use for my first printer and this fits the bill. It's been working so well I almost regret not getting something more advanced that can do multiple colors.

After a bit of an issue on my first order of this printer, (amazon fulfillment delivered a used printer that did not function) I was able to get a new unit and thank you to Anker support they offered a generous discount credit on the reorder, I am still new to this printer but it is already impressing me, this is not my first 3d printer but after growing frustrated with having to make semi regular adjustments or diagnose print issues caused by minor changes, I wanted a printer that was as close to 'just works' as i could find reviews I read for this printer made it seem like this might fit the bill and so far my experience is that it's the closest i've seen. there are no manual leveling adjustments to do, everything is auto leveled via the phone app there is a built in catalogue of prints you can just select to print built into the phone app and print in 1-2 button presses, there is a windows desktop slicer where you can slice STL files of your own or from other locations but for the most part everything feels like it's much more hands off than other printers I have used, and while that's not for everyone the box of misprints I threw out from my old printer last week after it just decided it no longer wanted to print properly anymore tells me I just want to have a printer i can rely on for a while.Things to note This printer is a bit on the louder side for 3d printers printing at it's fast speed the fans run at 100% and are pretty loud, but even at normal speed they are louder than other printers I have used.Setup for the printer requires a smartphone and creation of an anker make account. using 3rd party slicers is possible but you will need to send the gcode to the printer either on a memory stick or using the anker slicer after slicing on your pefered slicer (orcaclicer if the only slicer I know of that has a preset for the m5c however)

edit2: I was contacted by the support team at Anker after the review I posted was read. They reached out to find out exactly what happened and what occurred to get me to the point that I was at.After giving them a full breakdown of all of the issue and fixes that had been completed. They made the decision to take the support to the place it needed to go. I was sent a replacement M5C as well as spools of filament to replace the several I had wasted trying to complete successful prints as I was implementing changes and the printer was failing to repair the issues I was experiencing. They listened to everything as I explained and carried on a conversation with me. They didn't blindly read from a pre-defined script. They checked on what was happening and when it was found that what was occurring was not normal, they didn't stick me with an unusable product. They stood up and took responsibility! This is something that is hard to find. I'm glad to have found it with AnkerMakeThe final thing that was said to me in the last message I received was "Thanks again for being part of the Ankermake family. Do let us know if there's ever anything else we can help you with in the future. We're always ready to help!"They just sent a message to make sure I knew that they were there if I ever needed anything else and welcome to the family…Great company! Great products!(I've setup the replacement printer and have already started printing. Not one bad print so far! I posted pictures with the review.)edit: Here I am again. I have been using this printer for a while. I have worked through several issues and thought everything was working. Then I went an updated the Firmware, as I was directed to by the Ankermake app.Now EVERYTHING I print that is larger than 2 inches tall and 5 inches x 5 inches is having horrible layer shift.I have followed instructions to adjust belt tension.I have followed instructions to adjust multiple settings on the slicer.I have tried drying my filament and using different filament. No change.Every single time I print at some point the layer shifts on the Y-Axis.In some cases is it insane shifting as often as every other layer. In some cases only one layer out of 300.I have gotten no answers as to what I am supposed to do next. Now I am stuck with a 3D printer that I can't use because anything I print doesn't finish successfully! And the reason… Because I updated the firmware because the app instructed me too.Pretty big $400 mistake! If you read below and see the initial review, I was in love with this printer! 5 Stars!! Then it all went downhill.*******************************************************************************************************************This printer is exactly what was needed for the 3D printing world. It offers the ability to create high quality prints at a high speed. It also offers ease of use.Someone that is experienced with 3D printing will enjoy it. But someone that has never used a 3D printer before can find just as much enjoyment from it.Extremely easy setup. 8 screws and 2 motor plugs and you have the gantry setup. Then 4 more screws and you have the spool holder attached. Follow a few more instructions for leveling and you are ready to print your first model in about 15-20 minutes! You can use Windows or macOS to run the slicing/monitoring software. You can also monitor and manage using the mobile app on iOS or android. it allows you to start and monitor a print job from anywhere because it is connected to your network and the server at Anker. You then receive notifications for completion or issues on your mobile device. (you can also print without being connected by using a USB drive). The last thing to mention… but VERY important. Anker is an AMAZING company. They are there for you with any issues you may have and will walk you through it an do what is necessary to make sure everything is working as it should. The fan on my board was making noise (unbalanced). I spoke with support and explained the sound. They immediately sent me a fan and the instructions to replace the fan (got it in 3 days). They contacted me to make sure everything was ok and to confirm that there wasn't anything else that I needed at this time. Then extended the offer to contact them at any time should I need further assistance or have questions.I included some of the print jobs I have done with this amazing M5C.

This printer has blown my mind. After having an Anet A8 and was currently using an Ender 3 with a lot of upgrades, I saw some reviews of this and had to have it. This printer is the easiest, fastest, and most reliable printer I've ever seen.I've not yet had it a week and because of it's speed, I've printed over 20 objects on it with zero issues. You can literally slice a model from your couch, send it to the printer (with filament loaded and a clean bed) and just send it. You can track it on your computer or phone and see when it's done. This is what 3D printers should have always been for home use. I still want to use my Ender 3, but why when this one works so well and can print 5 to 8 times faster with better results and zero hassle? This printer is a true masterpiece. I look forward to years of easy, quality prints if it holds up.Well, they pushed a firmware update and almost every print fails now around the 2nd or 3rd layer. It's a great printer when it works. They can't leave well enough alone and now it barely works. I'm slowly beginning to hate this company.I'm almost done with Anker. I've never had soooooo many prints fail midway before these idiots. It's so well built, but sooooo poorly managed, that it just doesn't work now.If I didn't pay so much for it, I'd cut it up into pieces. I've almost wasted the same amount in plastic as I paid for it. Avoid it like the plague!Update: Still having horrible issues. It fails for some reason as soon as it starts to lay the infill. I've tried PLA, PETG, ABS in both easy and expert modes and it keeps happening!!! The only things it can make now is a giant mess on the print bed. This never happened once before their latest firmware update. Now it's 95% of prints. I guess I'll just have to wait until the next firmware update comes along SINCE YOU CAN'T REVERT BACK TO THE FIRMWARE THAT WORKED!!!!Update: Ankermake support has been great with my issue. They supplied me with new parts that fixed the problem. I'm going back up to 5 stars on this one. I really like this printer and I'm glad they stand behind it. They respond promptly and helped me every step of the way. I look forward to more of their 3D printing products in the future.

Wonderful printer. Prints with outstanding accuracy. Was so easy to set up and just looks clean. From the body of the printer to all the wiring being hidden away, no complaints.First printer I’ve owned that successfully completed a working torture test.My only problem is some filaments don’t print well, and the Z Offset can be very close to the bed. These aren’t massive issues and nothing a manual offset adjustment and filament drying can’t fix. Also, this thing prints fast. Minimum speed from preset profiles is 250mm/s which is incredible.Overall, this is the best printer I’ve ever owned and I hope it stays that way because I’m loving being able to actually use a printer. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good printer, especially beginners.
