About this item

  • 【Function】This tile chisel handles different demolition jobs quickly and easily, from large scaling to precise edge work, from tile removal to trench cutting, and includes rust, weld spatter and concrete splatter removal. Specially designed for thinset/adhesive/grout/tile cleanup, this tool can easily shovel up hard thinset, grout, tile, etc
  • 【Efficient】This tile chisel removes material faster and with less effort than traditional tile chisels. The extra-wide, replaceable 5-inch blade removes more thinset and adhesive per pass than a regular scraping chisel. Whether you're remodeling your home or working on a professional project, this scraper provides a strong grip and consistent performance to ensure smooth and efficient scraping
  • 【Compatibility】The trowel can be used in a variety of applications, either manually or with tools such as power drills. The SDS Plus floor trowel is designed with a universal shank to ensure compatibility with all SDS Plus sized rotary hammer drills

  • 【Accessories】The Tile Eraser comes with 3 spare bolts and nuts to ensure that the blades are securely fastened and to better prevent the tile removal tool from vibrating loose. The blade can be replaced with a Dtructiew replacement blade
  • 【Please Note】When using a tile chisel, be aware of its sharp edges to prevent cutting your hands

We are installing floors in our home and need to prepare the floors for leveling and the installation of our hardwood floors over top. The ability to use this with my SDS drill to chip away all surface imperfections and spilled on debris or other chemicals and adhesive is fantastic. This makes short work of all of this prep and removal.

I used this product to replace a couple of tiles that were adjacent to a narrow doorway that I am widening. I removed the cut/notched tiles and will be replacing them with whole tiles, notched to fit the wider doorway. I'll also be tiling beyond that doorway where there was previously carpet. This product was a game changer for me in demo-ing and replacing tile. I've previously used a 1.5" chisel that came with my SDS. It worked OK but was more appropriate for busting concrete and left a lot of scraping to remove the mortar. This was able to remove the tiles intact, then remove the mortar completely and painlessly without damaging the concrete underneath. I was also able to come back and remove most of the grout without chipping the adjacent tiles.I like that it has a replaceable head, but the first head will do a LOT of demo before you need to change it.

This tile chisel recently did a great job at hammering out a series of old floor tiles in an entryway. The SDS-Plus shank fits perfectly in my rotary hammer, and the blade itself chipped and gouged out everything in its way.The blade is thicker than I expected, measuring about 0.080" thick...nice and beefy. The edge can be easily ground sharp as well, if needed. The set came with a fresh replacement blade to boot, plus all the hardware and little wrenches for the nuts and bolts. Nice feature! It's also shorter than another option I have. Whereas a longer tool has its use at times, I found that - while working in a smaller space - the shorter length was a benefit. I have a bathroom demo on the horizon, and I'm looking forward to putting this to use in the more detailed areas of the enclosure.Altogether, I'm really impressed by the overall quality and finish of this chisel. For the price, you really can't go wrong!

I have a larger SDS Max demo hammer so I used an adapter to fit the smaller SDS plus shaft on this scrapper. I had some 12x12 ceramic tiles that were on plywood with thinset mortar and this scraper worked perfectly and popped them right off. By controlling the angle, it did a nice job on the thinset as wellThe steel on the blade is thick enough to use on thinset and tile but it's not for solid concrete demo of course. I also was able to touch up the blade edge using my angle grinder afte the edge got a little dull.It also comes with a couple of cheap wrenches that do get the blade change job done. I think this set will give you many happy hours of scraping and to top it all off, it comes at a decent price.

The included spare blades are a bonus, ensuring I can finish the job without any delays. The protective gloves and tools are essential for safety, preventing any accidents. I've been using the kit for a few days now, and I'm really impressed with its quality and performance. If you're planning to tackle a similar project, I highly recommend this floor scraper kit.

This kit comes with everything you need for tile removal. The tile chisel is solid & has some weight to it. It comes with a spare blade, protective gloves, bolts & nuts. I’m using it manually but can also be used with a drill. It’s a good complete kit.

This is a lot more heavy duty then I expected, I wanted to use it in my. Bathroom to remove some tiles, but it’s actually over kill for what I originally got it for. I needed to do some mason work and replace some field stone on an outdoor fire place and this made quick work of breaking apart the mortar and concrete between the rocks, in the section that needed to be rebuilt. I couldn’t have done the job without it. It held up great.
