This unit replaced a 25 year old dual pump on a sleep number bed. Installed easily and works great. It has a 10 year warranty as well. I’m pretty pleased.

This RusicEss air mattress dedicated air pump can be called the "savior of old bed upgrades". First of all, it has a wide range of compatibility, especially suitable for old Sleep Number users to use when changing pumps. The installation is not complicated. You only need to confirm that the air pipe is a 3/8-inch interface (mainstream specification), and it can be directly connected without any modification. The included wireless remote control design is also very considerate, and the hardness of the mattress on the left and right sides can be easily adjusted.During use, the noise performance is also quite good. It is not harsh at night, and it is quiet and stable. The shell is simple but stable, with complete accessories (air pipe, power supply, adapter head), and the instruction manual is clear and easy to understand. The overall user experience is far better than the original "high-priced alternative parts", but the price is more affordable.

This air pump compatible with Select Comfort and Sleep Number beds is a convenient aftermarket replacement for those needing a cost-effective fix without sacrificing core functionality. One of its standout advantages is its broad compatibility—it works with any size mattress and features a dual-channel design, making it suitable for both single- and dual-zone beds. The inclusion of a wireless remote adds ease of use, especially for users upgrading from older models without remote functionality. Setup is relatively straightforward, and the pump delivers consistent inflation and deflation performance. Additionally, the manufacturer claims up to 10 years of support, which adds peace of mind regarding long-term usability. However, there are some drawbacks to consider. While it fits most beds, some users reported that initial pairing with the remote or syncing to older mattress models required extra troubleshooting or third-party guidance. It may also lack some of the advanced sleep tracking or auto-adjusting features found in newer original Sleep Number systems. Build quality is generally solid, but it’s still an aftermarket solution—so for users seeking brand-authentic precision or integration with SleepIQ systems, this might fall short. Overall, it’s a strong value option with practical features, but with minor compromises in tech integration and initial ease-of-use.

If you have any of the air beds this air pump is listed for then you of course will be thinking this is only what this pump system is good for or limited too. But not so Ke-mo sah-bee.I like many others have generic or other off brand named air mattress which all operate by you guessed it... an air pump. Now many air pumps function just fine with an old fashion corded wire connection with manual hand controls to the pump, then airlines to the air bladders with safety over pressure systems in place so you don't blow yourself up laying on top of a real big balloon on the verge of its Pop Limit which can be more effective than your wake up alarm clock. But needless to say, all good things either come to an end and need replacement, or you just want a an upgrade to a much better thing. That brings us back to this replacement air pump system, or real upscale upgrade over an old manual system with this remote controlled system and all its bells and whistles included. How nice is that? No fudging around trying to find the short corded manual control somewhere on the floor next to each side of the bed for each air bladder and only being in charge of your side of the bed. With this system you have one small remote you get to fight over for who gets total control over it at night like you do over the TV remote during the day which puts you in command of things. With all this power in your hands you also get a nice backlight digital display readout on the remote to show you just how much power and control is at your fingertips. And so you can doze off and sleep well knowing you were in charge of things right up to the very last moment of your day going into your night time hibernation cycle before repeating it all the next day. How cool is that ?

I have a "legacy" model Sleep Number bed (old) and wanted to replace the very noisy compressor. This kit is a complete retrofit and even includes hoses and connectors. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. They suggested to reuse the existing hoses but when I tried to put them on the new compressor, the o-rings dislodged from their grooves so I decided to use the hoses provided with the kit. The new hose connectors snapped easily onto the air chamber. Pushing the end of the hose onto the compressor was very hard and it dislodged the o-rings again, even with the new hoses. For this reason, I took off one star. I pushed the hoses on there all the way and am hoping that it will hold air. If it doesn't, I'm certain that the o-rings will be the culprit. After 24 hours, it is holding air.The cordless remote is very easy to use and connected immediately to the compressor control unit without any additional programming (although there are instructions for that if you have problems). I'm thrilled to have a cordless remote rather than the old corded one (pictured). Our old compressor had the hoses permanently attached and the unit which the instructions addressed. They said to cut them off at the unit (pictured) and attach them to the new unit (which, as I mentioned, didn't work due to the o-ring issue). The price is a little high for the quality considering the o-ring fit issue.
