Best purchase for my office/ craft room. It’s nice and sturdy, comfortable and it’s the perfect size for what I need. I was looking for a Murphy bed when I ran across this. Easy assembly and no costly installation. My grandsons are big boys and they sleep comfortably on it. Solid piece of furniture. Folds & unfolds easily.

We've had this bed for around a year. It's a very comfortable bed. Putting it in and out is very easy. The only issue we have had is that one of the boards has come unglued. It's an easy repair that I can do myself. If the boards were one piece instead of glued, it would not have broke and I'd have given it 5 stars. Our guests that use the bed are bigger people (220 lbs) so that could have added to the break down. Id still buy another if I needed one. We love the look and style of it and our guests have too.

Best purchase ever. The second bedroom in our home is quite small. It has a twin bed in it (rarely used) that takes up a lot of room but we like to keep it if our grandson visits. I can't get over how much space we have in there now. My husband assembled it in a day. Some parts were a little tricky but he got it done. So happy with this purchase.

I recently purchased attracted by its promise of solid wood and high-quality craftsmanship. The bed arrived in four separate boxes, which some were quite heavy but expected since it was true to its word and made of real wood. However, upon opening the boxes, I discovered that the product was damaged and cracked in two places near hinge points.I contacted Amazon, and they arranged for a replacement, requiring me to return the original which was expected. Unfortunately, the replacement bed arrived with near the exact same damage in the same spots. It seems like the damage occurred during the assembly process rather than shipping. My husband, who does woodcraft, inspected the cracks and confirmed that they were in places supporting a lot of weight and couldn’t be fixed.The return process was a bit of a nightmare, but I must commend Amazon’s customer service reps, who were very nice and helpful throughout the ordeal. While I appreciated their assistance, I’m disappointed that the product quality didn’t meet expectations. Now left searching for an alternative option as we are now without a bed in the guest bedroom due to the fact that we gave away our other one in preparations for this. Hopefully, the manufacturer addresses these issues in the future.

I considered many different options for this fold away bed, and pored over the reviews. As others mentioned, it arrived in four very large and heavy boxes. Some of the boxes were pretty dinged up, so I photographed them and unpacked them one by one, fully expecting that I was going to discover damage.They were packed very well, and, with the exception of one small scrape, all the pieces were flawless. And, much to my surprise, the bed is solid wood. That means it's heavy. Prepare to use two people for some parts of the assembly.As a few people mentioned, the instructions could be better. I am very experienced around furniture assembly, and spent a lot of time double checking myself, as the illustrations were pretty confusing.If you want a solid piece of furniture that's going to last, don't hesitate.(I did wish it had been offered in other finishes. The light toffee is still too dark and orange for my taste.)

Excuse the unmade bed! However, there is the other photo showing how it looks closed. I'm still getting acclimated in my new space. I needed something that would be a perfect fit for such a small space, and this cabinet XL Murphy Bed was just the thing. My only issue with this is the mattress. It's a bit too firm, and causes my shoulder to be a bit uncomfortable when laying on it. Otherwise, the bed is as said a perfect for for small spaces.

I spent forever searching Murphy bed options for our guest room. We have limited space but also wanted something nice and actually comfortable. This fits the bill in every way! Love that it has charging ports in it as well. The mattress it comes with is surprisingly good quality. We bought a mattress topper too just in case but I don't think you NEED one. Queen size bedding fits perfectly! Easy to set up and store away. As for assembly, my SO put it together in 2 hours with no issues. I will mention that you absolutely should air the mattress out for a couple days before it's used just because all memory foam has that scent to it after it's freed from its vacuum sealed prison. If you are on the fence if this is a worth while purchase I am here to say it is!! Love it!

I was a bit nervous seeing some of these reviews. You can say I am one of those women who want perfection or close to it, when it comes to the things I buy. Now, I am realistic and know that perfection will never be achieved, but when I pay good money for something? I want it to be nice and worth it.The good: (completely goes against what others have been upset about)The bed came in 4 boxes, one was the mattress alone. It took me three hours to put together, which honestly? That isn’t bad. There weren’t as many parts as I was expecting and it went together quite easily. Yes, there are a few areas where pre drilled holes were not present, however, if you were wondering why, it’s actually done on purpose so the wood screws hold the meat of the wood. If pre drilled, they would not grip as well. I have seen high end furniture do the same. I really like the finished product. It looks nice in our office/guest room, and when not in use, I can use the top for pictures or whatever I choose. I was able to fit two pillows, and a throw blanket, along with the set of sheets in the drawer, and the comforter inside the cabinet with the mattress.If you’re wondering if you should buy it? I’d say yes, do it. Don’t just read reviews, see for yourself.Now, the less than good….One of the matches were placed on crooked. It took me 30 seconds to remove it and place it in the right spot. Not a big deal but for what we pay, it should have been precise. The only other thing is that the finish had a few small marks in it, but honestly, not bad enough to make me upset.I am happy I bought it and used my own judgement. It’s better than expected and will serve its purpose quite well.

There was a broken pièce of Wood inside one of the box. I tried to Have a replacement of that pièce but that was not possible with AFI Furnishing. I could return the bed but I fixed the pièce if Wood myself . It is doll to pay a Price for New bed and Have to fix something myself instead of receiving a New pièce.
