Nice little bench. Perfect size for kids. We use it to keep stuff that we don’t use very often so we don’t open and close it too often as it doesn’t seem super sturdy. It’s does look nice though.

Tiny! Really really tiny. It's perfect for a child's room. The seating area doesn't close all the way. Even though the dimensions were on the product description when I bought it, i simply can't imagine using this for adults. It's not worth the money if you're looking for a decent amount of storage space.

The brown color is much nicer than on the picture. It's more of an ebony, dark color. Quality is excellent. It doesn't look cheap. This bench is also well designed and easier to assemble than a lot of ikea furniture. I use it as a bench for recycling in a small kitchen.

Chose the storage chest for the bathroom because it had to fit in a narrow space. Followed the instructions and the storage chest assembled easily, and it's fairly sturdy. I used carpenter glue on the dowels for additional strength. The one issue I had was with the 'lid support spring', after attaching the spring according to the directions I found the lid would close but not stay down. Not sure if it was the cause for the problem but after close inspection found there's a plastic retainer/housing the spring sets inside of that was broken. In addition, the 'lid support spring' it attaches to the chest using small (4X8 mm) screws that are secured to the fiber pressed board into the back of the chest, and to the lid; in my view, it's a potential weak spot so decided not install it.

This bench is easy to put together, looks good and works fine. We use it as a children's toy chest and it works great, is pretty sturdy and organizes stuff. The only downside is that the lid, at least on my unit, doesn't like to lay flat; it sticks up a little -- not a ton -- just about an inch or so. Still drives me nuts, though. The solution is just to put stuff on top to weigh it down. Other than that, perfectly happy with this storage chest.

This is the Hulk of benches, the size is great and very deep. I was surprised at how much bigger it is then I expected. It was easy to assemble, but it helps if you have a helper. It looks good is well made and makes a great place to place them snow boots and gear.

I ordered this storage chest for my Granddaughter to use as a toy box. It is made very well, all the pieces were in the box. The lid has hinges that make it come down slow so no hurt fingers! Its the perfect size to fit in a smaller bedroom or to put in a family room. Shipping was quick. I am very happy with my purchase.

Great little storage bench at great price. Took about 20 mins or less to assemble and came nicely packaged-- no scratches. This is NOT a bench to sit on although a lighter person or child can actually sit on it without breaking, it is not made for that purpose. The top board and hinge is held on by 4 approx 1/2" wood screws. I don't like that you can see the hinge from the top but I think i'll paint it black (vs shiny steel). Works perfectly in the corner of our theater room to hold blankets and pillows. I believe this item comes in black, white and brown. We have the black one although the picture of item is brown, it is a nice satin black. Would also make a nice toy box or storage for large hall/foyer. It's not Vanderbilt quality or anything but for the price and function I really like this item.

This storage chest is just exactly what I wanted, and just what I expected - which is great! Ordering online can be tough sometimes. This is a very dark wood, no scratches or marks, good quality.The door on top stays up perfectly, and closes very slowly, to keep little fingers safe.There is a little dip in the front panel, you can it if you look really closely at the picture - I love that, so that if my toddler crawls in it, which she probably will eventually, lol - she's safer, and not just shut inside a closed box.This is great quality for the price, has held up really well for us, feels sturdy - and it looks great!
