The "Storkcraft Calabasas Upholstered Nursery Swivel Glider (Fog)" chair is so, so cozy and comfortable. It's a smaller style of glider, but it was much more comfortable than the wooden gliders that used to be popular. It was simple and easy to get it together, is made very well, and glides perfectly. I have not had any issues while using the chair and we have been using it daily for a while now!

While this is a beautiful cream color swivel rocker the frame is small. I am 5'4" and this fits me well - the bottom cushion comes to the middle of my thigh in the back. My husband is 6'4" and cannot get comfortable in it. His legs are along as is his torso. His head is far above the back cushion so if/when he falls asleep there is little to no support. For me on the otherhand my head can rest on the top of the back cushion and it is Comfortable. The material is made of a durable. Downside it is cream so shows every little dirt spot and blemish. The chair itself is comfortable and I am happy with it. It glides and swivels easily. I do not think I would purchase it again because it is smaller and my husband is too big for it.

This chair has many positives going for it--it is a comfortable chair that arrives almost completely assembled, and its simple design makes it fit in just about any room. Its movement (both rocking and swiveling) is smooth and not creaky, and the surface is easy to wipe clean. It feels solidly made, too. However, it is best suited for people of medium height, so tall parents and caregivers need to take its dimensions into consideration. Assembly took less than twenty minutes, and the provided Allen wrench served the purpose well enough. The chair arrived with no assembly instructions, but that proved no problem.Be aware that the back can slide out--be careful when attempting to move it by pulling on its back. It is better to rely on the arms.I wanted to add a couple of notes after some weeks of use. This chair leans back a bit more than I expected it to, but that mainly affected moving it with my hand on its back. I am 6'2', and I am able to stand up by placing my hands on the armrests with no difficulty.

Build QualityThe chair is well made and sturdy. It has a weight limit of 300lbs and handles that weight well without creaking or feeling like it is going to give. The chair is quite heavy and feels solidly made.AppearanceThe chair looks good -- the design is very clean and all the lines (sewn creases) are straight. The pearl finish has a slight texture and goes well with just about any room.UseThis chair is great for bottle feeding and rocking babies / toddlers to sleep. The arm height is perfect for me to assist and cradling our little one while feeding. Rocking is effortless and requires little energy/ effort to do.ComfortThe chair is very comfortable and easy for both parent and child to fall asleep in.Final thoughts:This is a great chair that is well made and I highly recommend it!

The chair arrives needing partial assembly. You can slide the back into place easily enough, and then you screw a couple of pieces into the sides. Frankly, I can’t tell what the purpose of those pieces is. This chair is replacing another (more expensive) glider that is wearing out. This chair seems to be best for smaller people. The back doesn’t go that high. I also wish you could lock the base to keep it from gliding, but it does not. It does have 360 degree rotation, which is nice. It is comfortable enough, but not excessively so.

This glider is small. The cushions are not the softest, they tend to lean more on the firm side. This is not a huge problem for me because it feels better on my back. It is also slightly lower than a typical chair and can get uncomfortable if sitting on it for longer than say 30 minutes. It is not the size of a full-size glider, it is definitely smaller, which is great for small spaces. It is sturdy, swivels, and glides smoothly. I ordered the color pearl, which has a yellowish tinge to the fabric. I kind of wish I went with the gray, but hindsight is always 20/20.

I had high expectation for this glider, but it unfortunately "started squeaking" out of box despite making sure every screws are tightened.Beware that you can't return/exchange without you paying for the shipping even though it had issue out of box. Also, package had sizeable rips/holes when received.
