These brackets are designed to securely hold flower boxes to the top of a deck or porch railing. Fasten the brackets down to the rail at your preferred distance apart and boxes are captured within the U-shaped holder. In two widths to fit standard 4 and 6 inch railings. Use with Embossed Flower Box (C-04) or Small Galvanized (C-08) or Small Copper Plated (C-08C) Flower Box.

The legs need to be longer so if bumped it doesn't go over the railing. I would love to have this if the 2 legs were3" long

Our house is built on a ravine and has a desk with a LONG railing that was begging to be decorated. My husband had already bought some planters, so I wanted to use those rather than buying new ones. These brackets seemed a little pricey at first, but they are very durable and work exactly as I hoping, stabilizing the planter boxes and lifting them up a little for airflow to prevent trapped water from deteriorating the wood prematurely. I initially purchased 4 sets and realized that I liked them so much that I wanted four more. They are very easy to install, and I will purchase them again if adding more flowers (are there ever enough?) seems like a good idea.

These are great for securing flower boxes to the top of the deck railing. Pretty, too.

The brackets were a recommended added item to a flower planter I bought. They are a 5 but they did not fit as advertised so for the hassle I lowered the rating.

We ordered 3 planters for our deck railings and then ordered these to mount them onto the railings. They look perfect!

Much larger than described measurements. Says 5 1/2 but reality 7 inches. Hangs way off my deck rail. Made for oversized large plant boxes

These worked really well. We have 2x6 railings and they're a bit bigger than 2x6 so they fit well (but likely too big for a 2x4 railing, so make sure you order the right size). My only issue is there's a screw you use to fix the bracket into your railing - the screw itself is fine and easy to install, I just worry long-term if water will seep into the railing from the top and slowly rot the wood. Would have like to see a screw in from the side of the bracket as there would be less water penetration over the long term. Nevertheless, I'd recommend these.

My balcony does not have a railing like any other normal balcony but cement wall which is 5" thick, so I could not find any hooks to work with that to hang my baskets and my balcony is long but skiny, so when I saw this brackets I was very happy. I ordered 2 sets right away, they were so easy to install, I did it myself (I am a female); and I loved them so much I ordered more brackets!! Thank you!!Oh yes and the price is extremely good!!I would add the picture, but dont see the option on the website.
