Was not level, even before placing item on it the shelf slanted forward. Also, appeared transparent in photo but wasn't, was a smoke tone.

I didn't get a picture because they are perfectly clear, lol. When you open the package, they are very tightly covered with a film of plastic. Consequently, they don't look that great until you remove it. You have to work a bit to get rid of the film that covers both sides. You may not even think they have a film, but if they are opaque, they have the film. Getting that first little piece up is the trick. Once you (finally) remove the protective film, they are crystal clear.These come with large clear suction cups to allow you to attach them to a window or other nonporous surface. They are designed to be able to remove/replace easily. I used them on top of a window as a little shelf by drilling small holes in the bottom, and attaching them with a small screw. They don't shatter/split when drilling as long as your bit is sharp and you are patient. My wife loves them, and she uses them for plant propagation so being clear makes them perfect for the task. -All the best!

As you can see from the photo this is the way they come. No packaging, brand name, or even a box. These are really, really plain looking. The suction cups work well enough, but I just don't trust suction cups, for something thats supposed to hold something breakable. If this is what your looking for great, but I would wait for a price cut. They look cheap, & they look like they came from your shower. The plus side though is they are very thick acrylic, and aren't as cheap feeling as they look. They are very ease to hang if you trust suction cups.
