67MM Lens Hood is primarily designed to prevent unwanted stray light (flare) from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. In addition, since the end of the lens is extended, you also get the added benefit of some extra protection from accidental impact. Screw-mount lens hoods, such as this 67mm, are designed to screw right into your lens or filter. Rear locking ring allows the user to rotate the hood in 360°direction.

I Love the product for the price it does its job I am just unhappy with the way it looks. It is smashed on one side and has not go back to its original shape since I unpackaged it. It does not look like a circle. It stayed dented and looks weird.

Don't buy it! Flimsy rubber, and if you screw it onto the UV filter it won't come off!!! I'm still trying because the product is junk and need to send it back. I hope I don't end up breaking the UV filter!

What's not to like? This hood actually screws into the filter threads and stays put. I have used it on several lenses. It's variable length allows it to work with very wide angle lenses as well as long zoom lenses without causing any vinietting, nor shadows.

I got this hood to replace a hard plastic one that came with the lens. It offers as good of protection, and as it is a screw on model, it does not come off as easily as the hard ones that snap on do. The material is soft and light, but has proven to be durable. It collapses fully if you want to do so, and does not cause vignetting when used on a 70-300mm lens. I will get another of these when I need to replace other lens hoods.

Works great, fits great and I especially like the fact that you can just fold it back when not needed. No need to take it off it's always ready.
