I originally gave this player 5 stars. Now I'm not sure where I stand on it. When I first got it last week, all was well. Today I plugged it into the USB port on my laptop and my laptop doesn't even see that it's plugged into the USB port. There's no hope of interacting with this player to drop files into it from my laptop.I clicked on "Help" here on the Amazon page for this product and the first thing I found is "Why doesn't my laptop see this player." -- Are you kidding me?The "solution" is that it might be a bad contact, or the USB cable might be bad, or pulling the USB out while operating the player or needing to download a 2.0 USB driver to operate the player. -- What?No, the solution is, this player needs to do what it's supposed to do. I shouldn't need to go "do" anything. I should be able to plug it into the USB port on my laptop and it should do what it supposed to do, not do what it's not supposed to do. I shouldn't be expected to go "fix" anything or crawl down a rabbit hole to chase down an ambiguous solution.I can't recommend buying this thing now that it ended up taking a turn backward the way it did.

I love this player. The only complaint I have is I like to play my songs alphabetically, and it does that, but in clusters. I can't figure out any reason or rhyme to it. It's a minor inconvenience though. It is very simple to operate and load songs on. I also love that it records directly from the phone. I just would prefer those recordings saving to the SD card instead of internal memory, but you can't have everything. Excellent player, highly recommended.

As soon as I got there she was fully charged and it was already connected to my iPhone it did not take long for it to connect it connected immediately i’m using this for my son at camp for three weeks and they have quiet time every day for one hour and this MP3 player says it lasts for 48 hours

Everything else is great on this player. Multifunctional, very well set up display, considerably easy touch screen maneuverability…however, Bluetooth connection just fails! It is a Bluetooth 5.0 player that can only function with Bluetooth 5.0 devices. I had Apple AirPods that are the generation with Bluetooth 5.0. The player will not even detect them, and there shouldn’t be any reason why it wouldn’t detect them. Tried another Bluetooth earbud that wasn’t Apple AirPods and it wouldn’t detect those either. Why advertise as Bluetooth when it doesn’t even work…There is one other little thing that is inconvenient. When the battery gets below a third of life left, the battery bar goes completely black, as though the player is out of battery, even though it will still stay on and work for some time after. Hard to know exactly how long until the player’s battery is really going to die because of that.

This item is ridiculous, it bugs out over every little action you do with it. If you try to fast forward a song it just skips, there is no way to scroll through a large large library of music quickly so this makes this device a complete waste even though it should function better with a touch screen. Gettin in touch with the seller is impossible and I'm working to file a return once I get in touch. When I tried to pair my bluetooth earbuds to this thing my player just bugged out. The headphones that came with hurt my ears when an electric shock when I used them the first time and afterward the music would just jump up in volume randomly or jump down. Pretty sure this item is made in a plant that works with cancerous materials, I try to avoid buying furniture that is treated with formaldhyde but this one was most with some kind of polish when I opened the item, my fingers had some resin on them when I touched the player. I figured it must've been because it came from the factory but I don't know what was on it still.Truly wished Apple didn't get rid of Ipods because other options like this one in the market place isn't too great. I can't unplug the headphones without the device continuing to play music and the device actually powers off all the time so I can to log in like this is some kind of mini computer before I could listen to music during my workout. It's more of an inconvenience to try to rely on this cheap substitution for a quality music player. Overall this was the worst purchase that I've made on Amazon for awhile now, if you want cheap don't settle for this piece of trash; it's not worth it

I bought this hoping to enjoy offline music through my Apple AirPods while exercising. The Bluetooth device search couldn’t find my Airpods, but it did find my iPhone which is irrelevant. Hugely disappointing. The touch screen interface is awkward, with at least a couple seconds latency between button press and a menu option opening. The audio player buttons are really small and require exact precision (or tiny fingers) to pause, rewind. Scrubbing ahead in the progress bar works 10% of the time and doesn’t actually start where you want. Way too much screen UI for album art or the default picture of a record. Video quality was poor and grainy, even with higher res vids (at least 720p). The on board speaker: audio quality is ok. Glad the charging/data transfer port is usb-c. FM radio requires wired headphones plugged into the jack, using it as an antenna. Recording function works, but there’s a 15 second delay between pressing record and actually recording.
