Ok so this kit is pretty awesome for the price. It isn't so much a PRO kit but for amateurs/beginners it is a great starter kit. Unfortunately, my camera doesn't support IR remote so I couldn't test that (Rebel T5) but everything else fit great, works, and lenses are pretty clear. I only gave this a 4 star rating instead of 5 because of 2 things:1. the 2x lens is a rather lower quality than the rest. the actual optics are not precise and you can hear them move/shift a little as you attach it or shake the lens. It still works but the quality comes into question as to how long it will last and when an optic may fall out of placement.2. the packaging of the item was awful. It basically everything was thrown into what looked like a trash back, rolled up, taped close, and thrown into a box with no padding. Several boxes were smashed but nothing inside was damaged except the 2x lens had paper smashed into the lens that took a little work to clean off. This may attribute to the issue in item 1.Over all though, it works and like I said it is a great starter kit, especially for the price.

Opened these accessories last night and while I was aware the kit shipped with a ton of new equipment to enhance the use of my camera.. this really didn't hit me until I opened the box. First thought.. wow look at all those boxes! For me photography had just gotten a bit more challenging and exciting all at the same time. I worked for a while first with the macro lenses as I have plans to photograph quite a bit of jewelry. Took a bit of trial and error including my learning how to manually focus the camera, but oh so worth it. They detail I’m able to capture now is crystal clear and exactly what I need to capture tiny marks on jewelry. Next I gave the remote control some attention. While not fancy, it seams to serve its purpose and has worked out ok so far. I haven't had the opportunity to make it through much more than this. There are a TON of options here and it’s undoubtedly going to take some time to work through the kit. I'm thrilled with purchase. I've had my t3i for about a year now and am completely self-taught so an affordable option like this suits my experience level perfect right now. If you’re in a similar situation, I'm not sure how you could go wrong with this deal. It really was like Christmas.. perhaps even better. Hands down recommend springing for this kit. Especially if you're interested in expanding your photography knowledge while leveraging all the fantastic features already offered by your dslr. Thinking I need to invest in a slightly larger camera bag now if I plan to travel with some of this equipment. The accessories are by no means large..I predict rather my dilemma will be paring things down so they fit my bag when I take my next trip out. For a self-taught newbie I have a fair amount of lower to mid range quality equipment. That said, I anticipate this purchase falling right into place with my other things. A++ buy.

I requested this kit for Christmas and it was more than I expected. Each item was individually packed and wrapped. The lens adapters were wrapped, put in a drawstring bag and then individually boxed. The filters & macro lenses came with wallet carrying cases.I have Canon T3i and recently retired to the Smoky Mountains of NC. This kit is not 'great expensive glass' that a professional photographer would purchase, but rather adapters for current lenses. I just started having time to use the camera and before I purchase a wide angle or telephoto lens, I want to make sure I will actually have need and use the more expensive lenses for my occasional shooting. This kit will allow me to learn and take the adapters hiking without worrying about a $$$ lens. Also, I want to take close-ups of the flowers on my hikes and the Vivitar close-up lens kit will give me a large amount of flexibility. Two of the lens adapters have removable macro adapters that can be used with or without the macro adapter, So essentially, I actually got 5 not three lenses. I need to play around because the adapters do require you to adjust f-stops and take the camera off auto-focus. I bracketed a bunch of shots for each lens adapter and close-up filters and am pleased with the output and the easy learning curve.I spent a bit of time on YouTube to figure out the 3 diffusers. The camera reads that the hot shoe is in use and doesn't pop the flash up. There are videos on how to use and adjust the diffusers so the flash pops up. Again, these are good starters, I don't currently have a lot of situations where I would need a diffuser. If I find a use, then I might look at what a more expensive diffuser would give me.The T3i has a better range for using the remote control (about 270 degrees), you don't have to be directly in front of the camera. My friend with an older Canon needs to be directly in front of the infrared 'hot spot' on the camera to use both this remote and the Canon remote. All in all, I'm glad I got this as a Christmas gift, I think it was an excellent value for an amateur photographer.
