Neat ideal, Not as big as it looks, Full coverage, 15 seconds delay and beeps before it starts. This will give you enough time to RUN out of that area. NEVER let your eyes get exposed to this light as it will damage your eyes. Not sure how well it works in house but I do have experience with UV as I use them for my fish tanks and ponds and it does kill off all the green algae quick.

This unit seems like it works well. It comes with a remote that let's you choose a cleaning cycle. It runs silently and gives you a slight delay to leave the room before the cycle begins. I guess the UV rays are harmful to your eyes and skin, so you don't want to be around this when it is running. You must also make sure your pets don't enter the room whilst in cleaning mode either (that was a challenge with a 120lb, very curious german shepard). There's a slight smell after the cleaning cycle that needs to be aired out, but that goes away after a few minutes. I was excited to get this at such a low price, as similar UV cleaning lights can be very expensive. It's nice to have piece of mind knowing that this is harming all the mold, and toxins that want to harm us. It's also lightweight, and very easy to use We really like it and hope it lasts a long time!

This is one of those devices that is difficult to review. I’ve used it in several rooms now. It’s very easy to use, turn it on by pressing the power button on the machine or remote, set the timer, and then leave the room. The remote is simple, 4 buttons, power, 15 min, 30 min, or 60 min. The device just has a power button that you use to turn it on and then press again to cycle through the timers. It has a delay start of 15 seconds to give you time to close the door and leave the room. It just lights up a cool blue and emits no noise.After using it in both bedrooms I can say that after waiting about 30 minutes after it automatically shut off, I can notice the room “smells clean”. I know that’s subjective and hard to explain but it does seem cleaner in the rooms. I have no way of confirming if it actually killed bacteria and viruses but based on my research before ordering this, UV lights are effective for this purpose.

Works great! I ran this near the cat litter area of the house for 15 minutes. I waited 30 minutes for the ozone smell to dissipate. The poop smell coming from the carpet disappeared! The remote control works great. The unit is lightweight. I want to use this everywhere!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My first impressions of this UV disinfectant light is that it feels really cheaply made. The bulbs themselves are fine, it's just the plastic housing all around the light bulbs including the base and even the remote that it comes with that feels so lightweight that it might crack under the slightest bump or drop. It couldn't possibly weigh more than a half of a pound. Besides that, the product page claims to not put off O-Zone, but I'm not sure about the honesty in that. It kind of leaves a weird burning smell at least the first time I ran it at the 15 minute setting and it's just a little odd to experience the odd smell, but perhaps that's part of the cleaning process? What's nice about the product is it does have three settings from 15 minutes, 30 minutes and lastly 60 minutes as well as a power off button. You also have the same controls with the remote that it comes with. Along with each setting there is a countdown timer that sounds like a bomb is about to go off as it increases in beeps, which is kind of funny, but I do appreciate that it gives you enough time to get out of the room so that you don't expose yourself to any of the UV lights. The remote is simply not necessary, since you have more than enough time to get out of the room before the sanitization process starts. As far as effectiveness, it's really hard to say with these kinds of devices on its overall effect, but the bathroom that I did test in does smell different, not bad, just different, so I'm sure it's doing something. My last takeaway is that for the cost of this unit, I just recommend getting an air purifier instead that comes with a UV light disinfectant setting, so you can get the best of both worlds. There are plenty of air purifiers around the $100 price point that will at least do some basic form of UV sanitizing. I can't imagine that this unit does much better than an air purifier does, but maybe I'm wrong and that's where the mystery comes in of the overall effectiveness.

Has a nice slim form factor which is helpful since I’m using it in a small area. I put this in an extra bathroom that we have our cat litter pan in. I’ve used it there…..no pets during the process! And I’ve used it in my personal bathroom and the hallway. The remote control is very useful because I can set it up, leave the room and then start the cycle. It is hard to say just how well this works, since there is nothing tangible to compare, but I will say there was a definite freshness to the air once cycle completed. I will continue to use this UV light, as an extra way to keep cat areas clean. It is more expensive than I normally spend, but it appears well made.
