This sanitizer box is medium sized and very light weight. It is bigger than I thought it would be. The unit is not digitized. The unit is powered on by manual buttons. The sanitizer has dial buttons that you turn to set the timer to control how long the unit will stay on. There are 2 UV lights on the top and bottom, four in total, that are spaced really close to together. You can select either top or bottom, or have the top and bottom lights on at the same time.The construction does not appear to be heavy duty. It is made from a light to medium gauge steal. Because the unit is so light-weight, moving it around is very easy. I did not weigh it, but it felt like it was under ten pounds. This is basic, but it does not have to be fancy or high tech to disinfect my items. The UV lamps do all of the work. The inside is large enough for you to place items larger than a cell phone in it. The top and bottom shelf could easily sanitize four larger cell phones at the same time. This is convenient if you have multiple devices that you want to sanitize at the same time.Every time I take my phone out in public, I wipe it down with disinfectant wipes. Because I am one of "those" people, I really appreciate this unit, and will use it instead of wiping down my items with disinfectant wipes to kill germs, bacteria, and viruses. I also like to disinfect the heads of my electric toothbrush at least once a week. This sanitizer box will be great for that too.I noticed a slight burning smell when I turned it on to sanitize my phone. I am assuming that that is because the unit is new, and maybe this smell would dissipate after a few uses. I am only giving it 4 stars because it works as a sanitizer, but I do think that it could have been designed better to be more durable.

The UV cleaner is bigger than I had anticipated and it’s nice because you can put a number of things in it and have it be sanitized in one go. Several cell phones can be sanitized at a time if needed, or toys and other tools / equipment that fit within the box. For folks who want to be extra clean, even a handful of towels will work. The unit is simple to use and mostly you just select the time and the light configuration and that's it. I cannot really measure how well the device sanitizes, but from all the reading done, UV light does work. The unit is lightweight and can be moved around easily. It comes at a somewhat reasonable price point, so worth trying.
