This appears to be a well built adapter and the circuit breaker is a great safety feature.RV outlets (TT-30R) are rated at 30 Amps, but when you reduce this down to a house-current receptacle, it would normally required a short drawing 30 amps to trip the main breaker. That's not really safe considering what you're plugging in to one of these adapters has wire rated for 15 amps (or 20 at best). The circuit breaker on this adapter solves that safety problem.Connections are also solid. It plugs into the RV receptacle with a solid feel and any plug you plug into the adapter also makes a solid connection.

Our RV takes a normal 30 amp three fingered plug-in to power the entire rig. It is possible to run everything minus air conditioning on 110V without heating up if you're careful. I have melted a plug adapter in the past by pushing too much amperage through the 100V setup. This handy adapter prevents overload and limits the 30amp output to a regular 110V circuit.
