** CAUTION **This adapter will allow you to plug a device capable of drawing 30 amps into an outlet designed for 15 amps. Care MUST be taken to not overload your circuit and you should understand the risks involved. There is NO overcurrent protection on this adapter, which I think would have been a good idea. It's an adapter, and it adapts. Not a lot going on here, but it is solidly constructed. Note that the cable is quite stiff and bending as seen in the listing pictures is not likely unless a decent amount of pressure is applied and the temperature is warm. For my use I will be using this to adapt from a TT-30P to a 15 amp wall socket for a solar inverter/charger but will be carefully watching my settings to limit current draw to within the ~12amp 120v range.

Nice heavy duty design, this works exactly as expected, provides power as a secondary input from my generator or my portable battery so I can either plug in my solar system or RV. I like the handle on the back of the 30 amp connection side, that makes it a breeze to plug in and unplug the big connection.Keep in mind, although you could pull 30 amps through this, it does not have a current limiting device installed to keep you at 15 amps as to not fry the outlet it's plugged into or itself, so you'll have to keep tabs on how much power your using so that doesn't happen.
