I put this under a heavy rug my pets and I walk on regularly to get it to lay flat, upside down with the honeycomb to the floor, for a few days. It made it a little slippery but this lays flat at the litter box. So just find heavy things and be patient.This catches litter, my cats don't mind walking on it, etc.It's lighter than other brands but the under/inner mat is thicker. It is more of a foam then rubber, so it is more slippery and I might need to put some anti-slip pads under it for my hardwood floors.BUT... mine is open on 2 ends?!? So if I pick it up wrong, litter goes out one side. I prefer the single end open style.

The extra-large honeycomb cat litter mat arrived folded twice. I unfolded it and placed it under the litter box to flatten for a few days. The light grey color is neutral and the mat is lightweight, which I appreciate. It effectively collects cat litter without harming my cat's paws. Sometimes, my cat even lounges on it, appearing quite content. Additionally, it's free from any strong or unpleasant chemical smells, which is a significant plus. Cleaning is straightforward: after tending to the litter box, I simply lift the mat, shake off the litter back into the box, vacuum the area, and then return everything to its place. The mat looks sturdy and durable.

I abhor how dirty the area around the cat box can get but this mat has helped a ton. It has a sort of underneath, pocket layer that allows the litter that comes out of the box to accumulate in an easy to clean/dispose of location. My cat also loves that his feet don't touch litter. He's finicky dude.The mat is very lightweight and lifting it to the trash receptacle is easy peasy. If you and your feline friend hate littler around the box area as much as do, give this mat a shot!

I've used many different styles of litter rugs and this one is the easiest to clean! Most litter mats I've used while they do collect litter very well, the litter gets stuck to the nat making it damn near impossible to fully clean it but the deep holes in the comb design collect so much litter and make it easier to vacuum. The texture made me think it wasn't waterproof but it is!

This mat is very useful and every cat owner should have one. It’s very large covers a full surface around the litter box and catches not only what gets pushed out of the litter box, but also any litter that gets stuck to the cats feet as they walk away.I’ve definitely needed this for many years now and I’m glad to finally find it. Mat is a good quality and they even added a stitched fabric edge around the entire thing to boost durability. The foam is very lightweight, waterproof, and easy to spray down with the kitchen faucet or a hose if need be. Great product for any cat owners!

Our cats love to have a litter flinging party, especially overnight while we are in bed! They think it's fun to do their business, bury it, and then fly out of the litter box at warp speed sending litter flying everywhere in the process, lol! This mat seemed like a must have for our situation, lol!I love the nice large size. The mat measures 30" x 24" - plenty big to span across the floor in front of our extra large litter box.I was surprised how lightweight the mat was. I was expecting a thicker, rubbery silicone but this is much more light and airy feeling.My main issue with the mat is how it is shipped. It comes folded up so there are hard creases everywhere preventing it from laying flat. There is no way to use the mat successfully without pressing it first. We laid it on the floor and used weights to press it completely flat. We left it there for several days, turning it over and pressing the other set half way through. While it did help, it still doesn't lay completely flat.Litter definitely gets trapped in the honeycomb pattern. I did like that! While it doesn't trap ALL of the litter, it still catches quite a bit which means less clean up for me!To clean the mat, you can just carefully pick it up and dump it back into the litter box or a trash can/bag.One of our cats was very suspicious of the mat at first. She would avoid it at all costs and exit the litter box from the back side instead of the front, lol.

I needed a larger mat for my litter box area, and this was the perfect fit. The mat feels to be of decent quality, and it doesn't have any weird smells. It does a good job at keeping stray litter from tracking all over my bedroom carpet, and it's easy to pour the litter back into the litter box.This item shipped folded in a box which caused the mat to raise up at the folds. I was able to remedy the issue by laying the mat out and letting a heavy object sit on top of the raised area for a while. My cat even enjoyed laying on the mat and took a nap on it before I moved it to the litter box area!

Good quality, good design, but the carpet is not stationary and it slips around the floor, no rubber at the bottom. It's a good concept, but there are cons.
