These brushes are designed for various painting crafts, ranging from painting rocks to watercolor pictures. I find it easy to paint rocks with the pointed brush for precise painting. The palettes hold 6 different paint colors. Everything is easy to clean with soap and water. Hang to dry.

Although the quality is nice, the size of this set just doesn't seem optimal for children. The flat brushes are useable, but the thin, pointy brushes would be mashed in the hands of a child. The palette reservoirs won't hold much paint ... the children I know use a LOT of paint! This set might be just right for a small paint project with 10 kids, for example at a birthday party. Not all that useful for everyday art, in my opinion.

I recently started a paint-by-numbers project, and the brushes that came with it just weren’t fine enough to reach the tiniest details. I needed something more precise, and these paintbrushes are exactly what I was looking for!They’re perfect for getting into those tiny spaces, and as a bonus, they even come with a set of mini paint holders, which is a nice touch. I've already started using them, and they’re working beautifully. I'm so glad I picked these up!

Our garage craft room is like a glitter bomb exploded, with my daughter, her five kids, my other daughter, and her twins all diving into projects. This set of 30 small paint brushes and 10 palettes is just what we needed for our artsy chaos. The mix of 15 flat and 15 pointed brushes is perfect for the kids’ wild imaginations, from painting balsa wood to slapping color on canvas. I tested both brush sizes on some balsa, and they worked like a charm, decent quality for kid-level masterpieces. They’re sturdy enough to survive a few rounds, but probably not more, of enthusiastic painting, which is good because our crew burns through supplies faster than I burn toast. The palettes are lightweight and easy to clean, though I wish they were a bit bigger for group projects. These are going to get heavy use in our multigenerational craft marathons, sure to keep everyone from the 2-year-old to me busy without breaking the bank.

I ordered these to prep for fall elementary age classes. These brushes are much nicer than I expected! Although bristles appear to be synthetic, they are a quality material and well constructed. The detail brushes each have a neatly pointed, tapered tip, shielded by a protective sleeve against damage during transport. The wider brush has a nice amount of resistance, with bristle tips which are finished with a soft edge. Bristles appear to be well attached to the stem, and brushes are easy to hold. I like the little palettes too; they are made of a material which has a bit of flex, so they shouldn't break easily, and they sit flat without being prone to tipping. Quality control is very consistent.

Only received the pallets and not the paint brushes so be very careful when ordering to ensure all products are included. This review will focus on the pallets.Size of these pallets is larger than the ones you get at Dollar Tree or Michaels. The overall pallet is larger along with the size of each paint reservoir. The well is deeper and wider which will allow for more paint to be distributed. I feel that is a good upgrade over what is available in the market today. Additionally, the plastic is thicker and feels more sturdy than the other ones I have from the mentioned stores. Good quantity comes in the order so I'm not constantly cleaning in order to change paint color.Overall, good pallets. Just wish the brushes were included.

This is a great little set of paint palettes and brushes for beginning artists of any age. They would work well for art classes, the classroom or the home hobbyist. I'm going to use these with my foster kids so I don't have to worry about my expensive brushes getting ruined or messed up. And at this price point, I won't worry about having to throw out a brush or two, if they don't get used or cleaned properly. Given the brushes are NOT high quality, they will work well for beginners. I think this set could also be used for hosting a painting party. I think this set is a great value, just add canvases or art paper and you're ready to go!
