Peeler blad is serrated and leaves grooves on vegetables.

The bristles were firm and great for scrubbing potatoes! I also use it to clean my snow crab legs before cooking them because sometimes there is dirt in them. Very comfortable in the hand and also extremely durable! Great value for the money. Will last a long time
