I didn't use it. When I got it, the box had printed right on it that it was a shoe brush. A strip of adhesive tape was attached to the box. I was not going to use a shoe brush for a veggie brush! I returned it for a refund!

It's odd that the box it comes in says shoe brush when it is being marketed for fruits and vegetables. It is nice that you have 2 different options, traditional bristles and finer somewhat softer bristles. The soft side is not quite as soft as I expected. The regular bristles are not overly strong either, I'd say medium strength. It is nice you can cover the other side when not in use giving you a good place to hold onto. The loop feels like rubber but it is very flat and not easy to open so not really helpful for hanging up. I wish the sides were rubberized for better gripping. It's an ok but nothing great. Mistake in ad says includes 21 brushes.
