I bought these batteries to use in my R5 mk II, the reviews stated they would fully function all applications in the camera. Have to say they work perfect and everything works as it should, just saved myself £118 and the good thing about them, you can charge straight from the battery with a Usb-c cable, I Have used them quite a bit now and there is no loss of power after numerous charges. I would definitely recommend buying these batteries for the R5 mkII.

These are good. Hold their charge well and work with my Anker chargers. I'm using these on the r5mii

A lot cheaper than the Canon original, for a reason. Mine charge to 100%, unlike what other reviewers say but they really last only a fraction of what other batteries (not only the Canon ones) last. So far the worst batteries I have tried for my R5 mark 2.

I always worry about using aftermarket batteries in my cameras, but these have been very good. No issues at all.

I was a little hesitant in believing these would be fully functional in the Canon R5 Mark II, If you try using a LP-E6N or NR they will not allow pre capture, and many video features.I first put these on my EOM Canon Chargers and got the fast blinking on both of them. I took them off and put them back on, and they seemed to charge just fine. They did take a while to fully charge, which was surprising since they were at least 50% when I received them according to their display. A few hours later they did charge to 100%. I added them in my R5 Mark II, and indeed no limits were displayed on the screen. I tested the pre-capture and indeed it works perfectly. The only negative that I can say is that both batteries read as the same serial under battery info, but I really don't care about that. I haven't put them through the paces of seeing how long they last comparatively to their OEM counterpart, but they are rated at 2600mAh, so hopefully they will last at least the same. I am very happy as these are about half of the OEM batteries. I would recommend them.

These did give me the full operational ability of my Canon R5 MkII, BUT they caused my camera to overheat. The overheat indicator would come on and slowly the bars would increase.

In my experience these have about 70-80 percent the capacity of the stock canon battery for the new r5 mark ii. I Do appreciate the fact that they include a usb c port on each battery. Huge convenience factor. A little disappointed in the lack of capacity.

These actually seem to work fully as LP-E6P batteries. Which the Canon variety are a bit hard to get right now. I know that Canon probably isn't happy that these work well - but they do. Shelf charge retention (but also - keep your batteries around 60-75% when storing! Storing any LiIons at 100% or 0% will kill them!) -- is very good. (The folks who said they had them lose charge after a few hours: I saw this after the first initial charge was done via USB-C. Do your first charge to 100% using the Canon charger or a non-USB charger, and after that, they will hold charge - in my case for weeks now. Probably internal charger calibration or something.)R5m2 recognizes them fully as LP-E6Ps and performs just how they should.The battery meter is a nice plus too to see where they're at. USB-C charging I use "in a pinch" when in the field, but it's definitely nice to have.

Very well designed and convenient battery. No charger is required since you can plug the actual battery in using the included cord. It lights up to show progress while charging, but you can also tap it to show the charge when it is not connected to anything. The battery has a touch sensitive button that will light up when touched to show you how full or empty the battery is. You do not have to put it in a camera or charger to see the capacity, you can tap it and know instantly whether you can use it or not. This feature is great for on-the-go shooting.Despite having a touch sensitive button, the button is flush and does not activate when inside the camera which is a plus.

UPDATE! Unlike Canon LP-E6P batteries that won't recharge unless discharged to about 87%, these batteries will recharge to 100% regardless of short usage. These LP-E6P batteries charge via USB-C (which also works with a charging bank), I fitted them into the Canon BG-R20 Battery Grip on my Canon R5 Mii, and they worked flawlessly. As a sports photographer, these batteries imposed no limitations on the camera's functionality. The best part is the 50% savings compared to the exorbitantly priced Canon LP-E6P brand, which is a boom for my wallet. Highly recommended!
