I bought this as a backup battery for my old Lumix DMC-FH22 camera since my original battery has been getting a lot of use recently. I don't know how long this battery will last as I haven't had extensive time to stress test it yet, but I will say that I was able to fully charge it and take random pictures, play with my camera settings, watch a recorded video, test out a new SD card and turn my camera on and off multiple times without any issues. I read in some other reviews that people had trouble with their camera recognizing the battery as legitimate, but I didn't run into any trouble at all. Some stats in case it helps:Camera model: Lumix DMC-FH22Original battery model: CGA-S/106BOriginal battery charger that came with my camera: DE-A59This new battery came in a nice box that looks like original Lumix packaging. However, PLEASE NOTE, the battery I received DID NOT match the one shown in the picture. The picture shows battery model DMW-BCF10E. The battery I received is DMW-BCF10GK. However, it looks legitimate and exactly the same as my original CGA battery besides the fact that all of the warning labels are in Chinese (which isn't an issue for me since I can read Chinese but just in case it's a concern for others, they do match the English text on my original battery). I don't know the importance of the letters after the BCF10, but it does appear this battery is in the DMW-BCF10 model family, which should all work for the Lumix DMC-FH22 cameras. Also, this DMW-BCF10GK battery stats are 3.6V 940mAh 3.4Wh.Hope this helps. I'll update this review in a few months if I experience any significant battery life/charging issues.EDIT (June 17, 2015): Just came back from a trip where I used this battery every day, all day. No problems at all. Full charge lasted me more than a day (although I charged every night to ensure I wouldn't run out). All day meant 10+ hours of being turned on and off constantly and snapping a picture every couple of minutes.

The problem was with the item itself. Nearly impossible to tell from the listing details that what you see is NOT what you get. The battery shown to the left is a specific picture of a specific battery, which I needed. What you get is a battery that has partial correct item number, but is fact not the one in the picture.I will say, however, that Amazon did refund the item and free ship back. Even though it is against their policy for batteries(considered hazardous, I think.) Though sticker on return box said non-hazardous lithium... Well, it is all good. Satisfied here.

Battery seems to be original, fits and works fine. Have not had a chance to see how it holds a charge.

I am not sure why they show BCF10PP picture. The battery they ship is BCF10E. It looks like a true OEM one, I was able o find the exact model on one of the european Panasonic sites. I suppose it is simply a grey market. Still I do not like to be sold one thing and receive a different one.

I received what seems to be a DMW-BCF10E and not *PP, so not exactly the one sold nor like the one that came with the camera. That being said, it charged and worked in my DMC-TS3 though I haven't tested its longevity just yet.

This Battery worked perfect in my camera. After trying many other batteries this one was the one that finally worked. My only complaint is the battery life of these batteries. Panasonic rates them for only 300 pictures and I must say that thier rating is pretty bang on. I feel that this is way too short for a battery. 300 pictures is really not that much if you are on vacation. That was the reason I bought this as a second battery for my trip to Japan. After coming back I am actually going to buy another one as there was a few times that I used up both batteries in a day. I also have a Canon Rebel SLR and the battery life on that is amazing. I took that camera with me to Norway and used one battery for the whole week i was there without recharging it. So I was shocked when my little point and shoot camera was only good for 300 pictures. But all in all i am very pleased with the battery. Would recomend it for people that are needing a second battery.

Of course this is a great 2nd Battery as I paid the $31 for it. Yes it seems a bit expensive but there was no other working option from what I could see from the reviews.

This is the real thing; a bona fide Panasonic brand camera battery. It is more expensive than the off-brand replacement batteries, but it should work seamlessly with all Panasonic cameras that use this model battery. I previously purchased a much cheaper off-brand battery, , but my displayed "THIS BATTERY CANNOT BE USED" message after 4 seconds or being turned "ON". Apparently, the Panasonic cameras will recognize off-brand batteries and will not accept them in an effort to protect us, the dumb consumers, from fires and explosions caused by off-brand batteries.I am not happy that I have to pay a premium for this brand-name battery, but it seems to be the only battery that will work with my Panasonic camera (unless, of course, you hack the camera's firmware).

I searched on the model number for the battery for my Panasonic DMC-Z3 camera; finding a battery of similar shape and model number I went ahead and ordered it. Much to my surprise on recent I realize that the model number is different from that of my camera. Obviously I was in a rush and did not check the model numbers. However, redoing the search today I find that the same problem comes up - when searching for a specific model number on Amazon, the results include many things with similar but not the same model numbers. (though that is helpful in some situations, it was not helpful here!)The moral of the story: Double check the model number before buying!
