Each Saffron Crocus produces 3 stigmas per corm. The Corms usually bloom in the Late Fall and must be allowed to dry out over the summer. They will form clumps and should be left undisturbed.. Then, like many bulbs, they will grow again when the rains begin. Perennial. Plant 3" Deep. Blooms in Fall but Plant Anytime. Withhold Water in Summer after Bloom and when Growth dies Back.

Arrived in good shape. All seem to be growing. Can't wait for fall to harvest saffron again. I had a nice crop in the house I used to live in. Hope the people who bought it appreciate them and realize what they are. Perhaps I'll buy another pkg next spring. Double my harvest.

So far so good they have come up.Planted them late so we will see. They are in a raised bed so O can dig them up easy if necessary...update they all seemed to have died...never flowered.
