I resisted buying this at first because I thought I could do without it. Not easily, that is for sure. With this tool I was able to remove and replace the chain ring quickly and I know it's tight.

Worked like a champ. Upgraded my Shimano cranks to the SLX 165mm. The Chainring was seperate and required this tool to tighten lock ring. Perfect Fit Fast Delivery and a good price
