This hydraulic jack puck is perfect. Helps to lift the vehicle up and set the seams for the jack points perfectly it’s thick rubber makes it easier on the body of the car gives you a little bit more wide area to grab if you’re jacking it from a jack point instead of the frame sits the Points directly in the grooves for more secure lift

One of the problems I have always had with working on unibody cars is lifting them with a floor jack if they have only a "notch" in the body seam. The jack that comes with those type of cars fits into that notch, but a typical floor jack basically crushes the seam when lifting. I used to put a 2x4 on the jack to soften the connection, but that isn't really a safe option. Using a jack without anything completely destroyed the seam on my car in the early 90s, causing it to rust out and, ultimately, made it hard to lift up.Many of the cars I have now are German, which have a lifting puck already attached to the frame, but my daughter's Honda Civic does not, so I really wanted one of these. The puck fits well in the cup of my 3 ton floor jack with room to spare. I like how it has sides to keep it from sliding off the cup. The bottom of the puck has the bullseye design that a lot of two post lifts have, which is very nice for that application. The first use of this on my daughter's car (taking off the wheel/tire to patch it) worked extremely well and I didn't notice any change in the puck's shape afterwards, nor did I see any marks or indentions left on the underside of the car.Overall, this is a must have to work on unibody cars with a side seam. Definitely worth the money and I would suggest buying more than one.

Looks like it will do a good job providing a stable buffer between the jack stand and jack seam locations under my car and protect the jack stand pad as well.

It confuses me that these don't come with jacks when you first buy them. There are many vehicles out there that have pinch welds, making these pucks essential to properly lift your vehicle. My old puck adapter got pretty chewed up over the years. I started looking for a replacement. I thought it was a standard pinch weld adapter, and it didn't get better than that. Then this adapter proved me wrong. This particular adapter is quite nice. It has an orientation with a deeper groove that fully wraps around the pinch welds, at least on my vehicles, perfectly. It sits securely on both my big jack and my little jack. It left no trace on the underside of my vehicle that the vehicle was ever jacked up, which is exactly what you want this adapter to do. As a bonus, when you aren't lifting a vehicle, the adapter makes a great garage phone holder, too.If you don't have a pinch weld adapter for your jack, get one. If you want a really nice one, get this one.

I used this rubber pinch weld jack pad on my Toyota RAV4 to lift it without damaging the factory welds, and it did its job well. The universal fit worked with my floor jack, and it was easy to position under the vehicle. One thing I noticed is that the rubber is soft enough that it compressed under the weight of the car. As I jacked up the RAV4, the material visibly deformed a bit. I've included before and after photos showing how it collapsed slightly. That said, it still provided a stable lift and didn’t cause any damage to the welds or shift out of place. If you're looking for a budget-friendly, quick-to-use solution to protect your pinch welds during lifting, this pad works—just be aware that the material isn’t as rigid as aluminum alternatives and may wear over time. Still, it served its purpose and I’d use it again for similar jobs.

I have been using a block of wood with a channel cut into it to perform the same job. This is obviously better. It fits nicely inside the saddle of larger jacks, but the backside is molded in such a way that it would fit securely over the saddle of mini jacks as well.Tried it on a Chevy Volt and a Honda Odyssey. Worked fine for both.
