the item does not work with lumix cameras I have tested personally on s5ii and s5iix and s5 mk1the cable placement is incorrect you cannot close battery door product is uselessI have contacted manufacturer will change review if they resolve issuebut dont purchase ITEM DOES NOT WORKPOOR MANUFACTERINGhad they of simply tried to use the product they would have realized massive manufacturing issue with product

The dummy battery doesn't work with the S5II or the S5II X even though they advertise that it does, the cable is in the wrong spot and makes it does not line up with the cutout and makes it physically impossible to close the battery door. This makes it highly impractical to use as the camera doesn't have a removable battery door and would make it hard rig up safely without putting the camera at risk to damage.

This D-Tap dummy battery does work with my GH5II, but only with the battery door open. The cable is too thick for the battery door to close, and this is with the cable going through the notch on the GH5II battery door.After looking at other Panasonic dummy battery designs, I noticed this one does not have a cutout or space for the cable to tuck in to close the battery door. I think if the design was better, this would be an excellent accessory for compatible Panasonic cameras.
