This is a nice cat carrier for a small size cat. I like how easy it is to get your cat inside without hurting them or stressing them out. My cat seems to be comfortable in it and enjoys looking all around. The design is nice and it functions for our needs. Unfortunately I think in time my cat will outgrow it as he is a big boy. But for now, it's a perfect fit!

Others commented that the zippers were hard to pull. I couldn’t move them at all. I had wanted a carrier where it would be easy to access at the vet, but my cats are not going to patiently wait while someone struggles with the zipper to get them there in the first place. Since I couldn’t even assemble the carrier I can only judge by zippers that don’t zip.

I realize these are made for airplane travel and have to fit under a seat. It will be fine for my smaller cats. I can't see one of my larger cats being comfortable in it for any length of time though. I should mention, I have some pretty large cats, not necessarily Maine Coon size, but definitely bigger than a small dog.My other complaint was thatr it is difficult to zip this up. I could not zip up the sides with the cat in it the way the zipper is installed. So if you were using it as a bed, you have to remove the cat to zip it up, if that makes sense.

Much nicer than I expected. It was hard to tell from the photos just what this was going to look like and how the "windows" looked. I was pleased when It came and I zipped it all together and saw it completed. It is sturdy, not like a duffel bag but solid and doesn't bend. Both ends do have the netting "windows" so the cat can see out. The little window at the top is small but it is still something.There is even a little "leash" inside that you can clip onto the collar to keep the animal (whether cat or dog) from trying to get out while corralling it inside.It is nice to be able to completely - or halfway - unzip it to allow kitty to get used to it and maybe not be so freaked out when it comes time to take a vet trip. After the first time getting closed in I am not sure the concept will still work but here's to hoping it stays something friendly and makes transport easier.Handles or a carry strap to carry it.Good size and good quality.The zippers do hang a little long and, at first, I thought I would just tuck the tails of them underneath the flap. Then I realized that would put the ends inside with kitty and they could end up becoming something to play with. So, keep them out even though they don't look perfect and save them from destruction.

This does fully collapse down, which is nice for storage. My cats liked it immediately--I think the front AND back door flaps make them feel less confined, and they both went into it right away. I will be leaving it out as a play tunnel to help them feel comfortable in it. It feels sturdy and the straps are sewn on really well, which is comforting--I know nothing is going to tear and drop my cat. The mesh panels don't really let you see into the carrier; all you get is a vague outline.Downside: the zippers that turn this carrier from a flat object into a 3D shape (not the door flaps, the edge ones) are a STRUGGLE to close. I don't know if it's a seam allowance question or what but it took serious work to get it together for the first time. I'm hoping that they wear in a little and will be easier to close in the future, because that was not fun. It does mean that the cats can't force the zippers open, which is good.I also wish the little soft floor pad that goes inside had velcro attachment points, since it does just flop around a bit.

If I were to choose a pet carrier for taking as a carry-on on an airplane, I would pick this one.This one looks and feels a lot more sturdy and secure than most typical airline carry-on pet carriers that are just kind of floppy. The top and sides are a stiff board-like felt-like non-woven material. It has several holes in the top for ventilation, and each end is sturdy mesh that also provides ventilation to make sure your pet stays comfortable. I feel like this one will contain and keep your pet secure better.The size itself is adequate for your average sized or smaller cat. However, it did manage to fit one of my larger male cats okay, although he'd be a little cramped after awhile being in the carrier, but he would be able to turn around in it if he had to. However, his butt and nose almost touch each end of the carrier at the same time. So I would not use this carrier for a larger cat for long trips except for quick trips to the vet and back.The zippers, while they seem durable, were a little bit of a pain to get completely zipped up upon assembly because of the snug fit of the sides. I plan on leaving this carrier assembled for quick ease of use. I hope over time the zippers will "adjust" to being zipped up all the time during storage and will be easier to zip and unzip over time with use. In the meantime I will probably just unzip the top to get cat in and out. If I unzipped an end and needed to close it quickly, the zipper doesn't really allow me to do that right now.Another thing is I wish the collar secure latch/hook inside the carrier could be completely removed or tucked away somehow. Also, the liner that goes inside the carrier that covers the floor and sides has nothing to secure and keep it in place. If it had some velcro to attach it inside and keep it place, that would be better. Otherwise the sides just flop down.Aside from that, the carrier I think will function well for its intended purpose. It comes with a carrying shoulder strap, double hand straps and loops on one side to slip over your largest luggage handle for ease of transportation. I also like that it folds down flat for more compact storage. For the price I think this is decent.
