The speaker is amazing dont get me wrong. But i needed it for an event where all i had to bring was the speaker and when i got there it was defective. When I plugged it into charge it, it displayed a full charge. The moment I took the charger off the speaker immediately died and would not come back on even when trying to play the music while it was plugged in although it showed 100% charged the speaker would still die. Needless to say the event had no music due to the malfunction speaker.

IT's good and loud for its size. When you first turn it on it's on almost full blast. It does not have a shuffle option.

This speaker is very nice in looks. It has a color feature with different moves of color. It has a spot that serves as a handle, which is great for moving it around. It’s heavier so the handle is very functional. The sound quality is really good and it gets really loud. This comes with a mic if you want to use it for singing or if you want to speak with amplification.It’s very easy to use and hook up via Bluetooth and the cost is not bad in comparison to some of the similar speakers you’d find on the market.Overall, it’s a great speaker and a good buy.

Great sounding party speaker! Lots of bass (for you bass people) but the mids and highs sound great also. Well built and easy to use controls. Battery life is sufficient and connection was fast and stable. lighting function is bright and cool! I like everything about this budget party speaker! I recommend!

The build quality is actually quite a bit better than I was expecting. It's not super premium feeling, but it's not bad either. I get a ton of plastic crappy speakers and this feels like it's in between those and a JBL product.It has decent sound. Compared to the LFS Soundstorm $130 speaker the Soundstorms bass and the YMG are similar, I would give a slight nod to the Soundstorm on bass loudness, but give the nod to the YMG for less distortion at high levels.Compared to the Tribit Stormbox Blast $200 speaker, the overall bass and bass depth is definitely the Blasts deal. Also the Blast can handle really hard bass tracks, like Roddy Ricch - The Box much more smoothly. The Blast also gets louder than the YMG, but not by a lot. The Blast also has more detailed sound. I think it is worth spending the extra $10 and buy the Tribit.This YMG speaker is supposed to be waterproof, but the very first time I tried to open the flap to charge it the flap came off. I can still manage to put it back in place although I am not sure I would take it in the shower like I do with the Tribit for the last couple of years. It has a super robust flap.
