Purchased this for a 9 year olds birthday. Item as described. She loved it! Fantastic that it comes with 2 microphones so that kids can sing at the same time. Definitely LOUD. My kids love that it lights up, and feels like a dance party. The sound is ok. This is not a high end karaoke machine where it's crystal clear. There is definitely a bit of echo. But you are not paying high end dollars for this item. So for the money, I would say this is fair quality for fair price. If you are looking for high end sound, pay the high end prices. Obnoxious toy to listen to kids singing off key, but hours of fun for them. So take it for what it is. Ear plugs were not included for parents. Would be a great add on. :)

i actually didn't purchase this for karaoke but for a game night and it was perfect. you can use just the mics with the speaker without having to play music and the sound quality is very loud and clear. it also holds charge for a very long time and is very light weight but sturdy still.

Was surprised how loud it was. Good bass. Bought it for my nephews and they love the voice effects it has. They haven’t used it for karaoke mode yet, but I can imagine it will work well.Small with big sound.Definitely a good buy for any occasion.I’m happy with it.

Pros: I liked the sound quality, and this was one of the few cheaper sets where I was satisfied with how little echo there was once the echo setting was fully off. (Annoyingly, it's not the default, but easy enough to turn off.) The speaker was plenty loud for personal use, and the rainbow colored light on the front looked great.Cons: The microphones really need a windscreen, one of those foam covers to prevent popping and whooshing noises when a person speaks or sings. That (not included) addition improved the sound quality a lot. The applause button is absolutely obnoxious -- loud, jarring and doesn't sound like applause, just noise. We kept accidentally hitting it and it was a dent in our karaoke experience. I also wish the microphones could be charged by inserting them into their housing in the speaker; nope, and you needed three separate USB C cords to charge both and the speaker, and it only comes with one.

Wow I'm amazed by the sound quality, with double mics as well as extra sound effects. I was blew back I paid a nice penny for a previous karaoke machine that didn't last a few days. the kids love it but us adults took over now a few of my family members wants one. We had a karaoke brunch for Christmas Eve and this machine really set it off for us We had a blast. I'm pleased and satisfied now family wants to come over again!
