Just bought my son an 05 kia sorento for his 1st car. The fuel pump was fine but the fuel gauge didn't work. I purchased just the sending unit to swap out but the 1 listed on Amazon doesn't fit my car. I returned it and purchased the whole pump assembly. It's an easy install and so far works. I've had hit and miss luck with cheap fuel pumps so we will see how long it lasts but the fuel gauge works and the car runs great so at the moment it's a win!

The top flange it too large and the locking ring will not fit over it

I purchased this item online because of the price and it's true as they say, you get what you paid for.The original part came damaged and was quickly replaced which was the only good thing that came out of this.A few weeks later after it being installed professionally it gave out. My vehicle kept stalling out wherever I went. Took it to dealership just to find out the part was faulty. So I had to buy a new one at cost and lost out. Lesson learned...careful with buying parts online without a warranty.
