1. Go to Microsoft catalog update website (there is website in the user manual), search "Xbox Wireless Aadpter" in search box. Find the version file corresponding to your windows (a driver that does not match your windows will cause adapter to not work), downloaded file to your folder.
2. Going back to Device Manager, right click "XBOX ACC" and choose "Update Driver." Select "Browse my computer for driver software." Browse for the folder that you extracted the driver to in step 1. Then choose next.
3. After successful driver update, unplug and replug device into your computer. Then hold down black button on the side, which should now start slowly blinking. Hold down button on your X One wireless controller for syncing, and their two will be link up.
Note: Adapter LED didn’t light up after pressing button 3 seconds or disconnect randomly, You should:
1) download/update driver
2)use USB extension cable
3)Restart the controller

It's great allows me to play on pc but my controller keeps disconnecting. At least every couple days. Randomly disconnect

From time to time, my dongle would lose connection to my controller where I'm playing one moment, then my controller is forcing my player character screen to sway and look toward upwards. Other than that, this product is perfect.

I bought an XBox Elite Series 2 computer and quickly discovered that it didn't work wirelessly with my PC right out of the box. I bought one of these wireless adaptors, attached it to my computer, and it immediately allowed my to use my controller wirelessly. Configuration was a snap, and I've had no issues with it.

It's a knock off product that barely functions. Disconnects your headset at random, sometimes when your headset is touching the USB, or even when it's only 2 feet away. Sometimes the device won't even pick up my headphones and I have to re-pair the headset to get it to even register again. I've had nothing but trouble and would not recommend getting this product

Can plug in and connect no problem, however when playing with controller, it regularily stutters and ignores half my inputs making it virtually useless when I can't do anything for 1-3 seconds, or go several minutes without being able to use select buttons. Do not buy

Super simple to install and connect! If you're on windows 11 select the windows 10 option because there's not a windows 11 option in the files. Latency went from 60 without the adapter to 12 which is what it was when I had it hooked up wired! Extremely happy with it and I'm only giving it 4 stars because it doesn't have a windows 11 install option but still works. If you need the adapter then absolutely get this one.

I use it for my Xbox Elite 2 controller on my PC. The adapter includes a U disk, similar to a flash drive, to give you access to the correct driver. Follow the directions included with the wireless adapter, download the driver, eject the U disk, pair the controller with the adapter, and you’re good to go. My controller now works wirelessly! (I’m not sure I actually needed the U disk to get the correct driver, but I used it.)

This thing is trash... I should of just paid the extra for a licensed xbox adapter because this one is garbage. The first day I used it for like an hour I had zero issues then the next day the controller kept loosing signal and its been that way ever since which anyone who games knows that is not good at all ... Was in the middle of a shootout with ghouls in fallout 76 and my controller loses signal and I got annihilate ... Every couple of minutes now with this thing its losing signal which makes game play nearly impossible .....its kinda crappy that I paid twenty something for a broken product or one thats just straight trash ... My advice shell out the extra bucks for a licensed xbox adapter (Edit) I updated my review and took away one star cuz today both of these trash adapters I bought stopped working completely ..absolute garbage dont waste your money

I've spent 120 dollors on blue tooth devices and then I was told about this item and just tryed it out yesterday and I got to play bo3 with no disconnections it felt so unnatural that I thought I was on my Xbox again
