Chances are if you are looking at this part, you got the P1710 (maybe with a P700). This was not a horrible job and this part is working great (granted its been 3 days) so far. The part comes with a longer purple wire with the pin if you wanted to pull the pin out of the connector for the old servo. I didn't have the right size pin extractor so I just cut, soldiered, heat shrank each connection; then put the original black tubing (which will scrunch up while soldering)back over it. I ended up filling the transmission up with about 6.5 quarts of transmission fluid. It is messy so be prepared . It difficult to catch all of the fluid as well as the residual droppings after the assembly is out of the transmission.Great part.

Most of these Chinese parts are no good they last a little while and then they die. Been a mechanic 50 years so I've seen it time and time again. It's too bad Subaru doesn't sell the OEM Japanese part to repair this issue. Subaru only sells it with the valve body

Wire this red wire to red wire, green to green, blue to purple.They are not in the same order coming out of the sensor so I wired them from left to right as the wire comes out of the sensor first and that does not work.Some instructions in the package would be nice
