Bought this item for the dash of my 69 VW beetle! It's cute but the lava speck is the size of the eye of an amoeba!

1st time I ordered it, you could see the liquid from it leaking into the package. It was missing some fluid. Returned it and ordered a replacement. The replacement arrive and the color gel or liquid inside was not even in it. It was just clear water or oil. Nothing inside. And this one was also leaking as well. You could see the liquid on the outside of the item and all inside the packaging.

I am not sure if we got a dud, but we only have about 1/2 of the container filled with liquid & “lava”. As a result, when you push the button to watch the lava, it only splashes a bit and that’s it. Not as nice as I thought it would be. Got tossed to the side at my house.

My son wanted a lava lamp. I got this as a prank. He loved it! It says red but it is actually green. I did get him a full size one also
