Constructed of all metal with three (3) triple chrome plated trumpets. The horn's base is painted steel. The Cannon Ball Express requires an on-board air system. Horn comes with all required mounting hardware, 10 foot length of 1/4" nylon high pressure hose and a heavy-duty 12-volt electric solenoid valve. They r nice and loud and have a nice low noise and I found them to be much louder if u take off the electric air selinoid and Use a ball valve

This horn is excellent,but I made a very easy modification to increase the volume output quite a bit to get it there. As is, this horn is restricted by the thin tubing and the 12V solenoid. I completely removed the solenoid and put a DOT approved compression fitting in the female threads the solenoid used to fit in. I then bought some DOT approved airbrake line and attached the other end to another DOT compression fitting and attached a 1/4 turn ball valve to that.Now, after the $24 mods, when I open the ball valve, this horn is at least twice as loud as it was out of the box. I went to a store that supplies overland truckers with truck supplies to get all the parts.With the mods, this sounds like a locomotive horn.Time invested was 20 minutes at the truck store, and 30 minutes at home.We finally have a goal horn for when the kids play hockey, bu tit scared the kids the first time because the mods make it sound like a Union Pacific Locomotive is bearing down on them.

These things are huge, you need about 2x1.5 foot space for them. They are AWESOME, GREAT Tone and the they look quality built. I love them. In my 2008 Silverado I mounted them under my driver side rear passenger seat...... many remove the spare tire and mount there but I found this to be a suitable place for mine.

These horns are of great quality! Strong, metal, durable........I was looking for a train horn for my Ram 2500 but these are way too big! It is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars! There is absolutely no place to mount these horns under my truck. Going to return and purchase new horns!

Very loud. Took off the small air line and got a half inch line to run it. Guessing it is not the best for the life of the horn but makes it stupid loud. Very happy with the product and the price!

I have owned these horns for a couple months now and would NOT recommend these horns.I have been buying and using air train horns on my trucks for over 20 years. Wolo has some fairly good products overall for being Chinese built. I bought this horn to replace another dual air horn and I thought it would be loud. It isn't.I have a very nice Airraid 200PSI 12v compressor and big tank to push my horns and suspension air bags. I have a 150psi regulator for the horns. My 11 year old shorter, smaller duals are louder than this triple unit. It came with a 1/4" air valve, which broke and leaked within one week. I contacted Wolo and they sent a new one right away. At first, I thought the low output volume was due to the bad valve, but the new one did not increase the airflow nor the loudness of the horns. I think the valves and manifolds into the horns need to be 1/2" to increase the air volume into the horns to increase the loudness. I can't fix that. Since I have had these on my truck a while, I can't return them so I am going to have to sell them on eBay or Craigslist- dangit.Do your homework and go with a something different.

The construction of this product is very heavy duty. But overall I am extremely disappointed in the sound quality. I purchased these for my semi and I mounted them on the passenger side step. When I put air to them there is quite a delay, which I understand with the air travel, but the sound is far from the rated 150db. Glad the product was as cheap as they are on here if I would have paid the full price on wolo.com I would've been really pissed.

This thing is great. Ive had it on my truck for three yrs. and its a BLAST. Literally. I got the air tank and the air pump for it. I mounted it in the best place I could think of. I took the spare tire off and mounted it under the truck. facing forward and have not had any problems with it. I have a lifted truck so the spare wouldnt of done me any good anyway, because I also have oversized off road tires. nobody even knows I have it. So if you dont want anyone to know you have this giant horn. I would recommend you mount it under the truck where your spare time is. It makes everyone jump. I love it.
