I bought one of these 12 years ago to keep recipes. The easy open latch broke off on my first binder, and even though it was still useable, I wanted a replacement. I tried a few different ones, some generic and some name brand binders, but they were all flimsy. The covers of this binder are strong and sturdy. The double pockets on the inside are a nice bonus. Also love the easy open switch. When they say durable, they mean it.

They seem expensive, but you get what you pay for - they're very durable. These are the best quality 3-ring binders I've used so far. I tried out at least 5 other brands before settling on these. I tried out some cheaper ones recently and I completely regret it - it just ended up costing me more money because I'm going to just end up replacing them with more Wilson Jones binders. If you need a thinner binder, you can probably afford to go with something cheap. If you need a 3-inch binder, don't skimp out.The only negative thing I can say about these is that the top ring can come loose when you turn too many pages at once, and the top hole on those pages can pop out of the rings. Just don't try to flip to the back in one big chunk and you can avoid this.

I use this for my work notes and helpful guides, especially now that I am working from home.Lots to like, there is plastic covers on both sides for paper and easy access, the binder teeth are well made. This means flipping pages are easy and does not snag.

Gap in rings so sheets in binder get caught in them.

I bought this as a book to store all my music. Other binders were falling apart on me. This one is pretty good, but the top ring is not as secure as I would like, as my pages will slip out as I flip through on my music stand.

I rarely write a review on a product.... but today I will take the time.I wish I could go back in time an NOT buy this product. The parcel arrived in a poor condition, some of the corners are damaged. The binder cannot take A4 paper. The binder is way to small for plastic pockets A4.In short I have no idea what paper format does this binder can be used with.Very disappointed.... and unusable for my needs.

I have to say these binders have really improved from the last I purchased on Amazon about 2 years ago and for the price I'm really happy :) My son needs 2 of these bad boys for school an I originally paid $20 a piece for a Heavy Duty one at the start of the school year which here I am already replacing one.Anyways... this new design is AMAZING, the one touch binder is GREAT and both me and my son LOVE the tab to open the binder rings. He even came home from school the other day to say how much easier it is to use this binder. I wish I would have ordered more at the price of $8. Plastic cover was nice quality and having 2 pockets inside was even better. I know my son can be a little rough with his binders just tossing them in the locker but I'm really hoping this binder holds up better than his last.

This is the first D-ring binder I have ever had, but it certainly won't be my last. The D-ring is so much more stable, and makes it much easier to turn the pages as well. Unlike regular binders, I don't have to worry about the pages falling out in transport. I love the fact that I can slide in my own front cover, as well as spine insert, which was one of the reasons I chose this one. There are plastic pockets inside as well, front and back, for spur of the moment pages of notes. The durability was something I was concerned about, since I didn't get to actually look at the item prior to purchase. However, there were videos which helped me make up my mind and when I received it, I wasn't disappointed. I don't expect this item to wear out any time soon, but when it does, I will come back to this brand for a second purchase.I highly recommend this item!

This binder does exactly what the advertising explanation says it will do - and it does it very well. It may sound a little silly, but the first thing I liked when it arrived was that the stickers pealed off easily and did not leave any extra pieces. The clear plastic cover allows 3 sides of cover pages: full size front and rear, and 2" side panel. The binder rings open easily and close strong and tight. They also stay closed as I move through the pages I need from a printed PDF of a music DAW manual. I have 153 pages of 81/2 X 11 paper and each page is inserted into a plastic page protector, which are a little more than twice the thickness of the paper. (I printed each page two-sided so I only need one page in each protector.) The binder, when closed, is flat - in other words - completely full. Yet it still functions with no problems. I cannot get overly excited about a binder - I mean it's just a binder - but it is worth the cost and functions as I hoped it would. The color (mine is blue) is strong but not overpowering.

Like most people, I used to view binders as a commodity item. After all, how can you possibly screw up or improve upon such a simple design? Well, as it turns out, Wilson Jones has found a way to improve D-ring view binders with an assortment of unique features. I can't speak to the durability of the binder, as I've only had mine for a month or so, but the single touch trigger adds a surprising amount of convenience. Not only does it take only one finger to operate, but the trigger requires a minimum amount of pressure to open or close, yet the binder locks very tightly and feels well-constructed and secure. The D-lock, which uses a pin and socket design to lock the rings together when closed is a nice touch, and it's easy to see how this design would prevent the rings from slipping when locked. The four pocket design is also a great touch. It's such a minor add-on, but when you've got a ton of papers to organize and keep track of, it's incredibly convenient.Just about the only complaint I have is that the contact points where the rings close aren't as smooth as I'd hoped. So there's still the potential for pages to catch against the seam when you're flipping them. But this is a fairly nitpick all things considered.
