I use these small oak plugs to hide my mounting screws on an oak staircase. They work as they should and I would recommend them.

These plugs do not fit in a 3/8 hole. Junk. Get plugs from the hardware store.

Nice product but you don’t get many for the price. Make sure you get end grain or face grain depending on your needs.
