The threaded metal rods that are meant to anchor it in the ground are not sized to match the female side on the bottom of the vase. Going to the hardware store to find correct size.

Beautiful but stakes won’t screw in and keep falling out. Even tried to use super glue and it worked until I put it in the ground at my husband’s headstone. I changed my mind and wanted to move it, lifted it up and the screw came out in the ground. Same with the other one! Since I used them and it’s passed the time I figured they wouldn’t take them back. If you purchase them and this happens don’t keep them return them immediately! It means they are all crappy!

Nice flowers for gravesite. Lasted about 3 months before they started looking like they needed to be replaced.

It's tough to find attractive and durable containers for the cemetery. These are perfect, although a bit small in diameter (3.5").The base has steel stakes that are really solid. To assist in getting the stakes in the ground, they provide a spike. The vase that goes on them is pretty and looks like porcelain but is a heavy gauge plastic and has drainage holes too. Two American flags come with the set of vases - a nice touch as most of us in the Northeast put our first flowers out at the cemetery on Memorial Day.A really pretty set of vases, but wish they were a tad bigger. I have to cut the artificial flower stems to accommodate a 7" depth. You could leave these in place year round and they'll definitely hold up.While the small size is a drawback, you will save money on buying artificial flowers. Can't give these 5 stars but they are worth 4 stars.

Grave sites have so many rules to them, making it hard to put up something pretty or something that will withstand the weather. These grave vases with spikes for flowers give a durability that others can't. Its unfortunate that people steal from grave sites, but they do, so the fact that these have spikes on them to keep them from going anywhere is what I was looking for. Not to mention the design they have engraved on the side to help with the decor of the vase!

These come with instructions and hardware as well as two flags (which was a nice surprise). Very easy to assemble and sturdy.These are great to have on hand, especially when holidays come around. If you don't place your flowers at least 10 days in advance, it has been my experience, that it is impossible to find a free vase at the VA cemetery because they are already in use by other families.These are also cost effective because if you purchase a vase at the florist they are much more expensive.
