For setup and such these are great and handy. While you could get away with something else, if you do a lot of right angle stuff (boxes, shelves, etc) these are great. Even just for rough checking that your project is in the 'ballpark'.Since they're cheap and plastic it's no problem to use them under a clamp. Really, it sucks when your project is done and some part is not square, even if it just alerts you to some other issue.They can live in the cardboard box they come in, so they're not taking up shop space.

In truth I have not need to use this set yet so my review is limited. Well made, seem square enough when checked. The price vs some of the name brands was a no brainer. Fully expect these will fulfill my needs as a mediocre occasional hobby level wood hacker. These were one of those tools I see used enough that I didn't want to not have them when I finally do need them.

Whenever I'm using these for box making, they can't be clamped properly - making them completely useless for square clamping.

I think this is one of those things I never knew I needed until I tried them. They work great for squaring up something you are building especially if you are working alone. They are all nice quality, and true square as far as I could tell. I do wish that they would make them standard dimensions so you could use them as spacer blocks as well, but they aren't advertised to do that, so I can't knock them for it. One thing I will say is that the first review that popped up when I looked at these said the clamping mechanism worked great. They had a whole paragraph on it. There is no clamping mechanism on these. You have to use your own clamps. It's not a problem, I just wanted you to be aware.

I haven't used them yet but will this weekend. HOWEVER, the box was open and untapped, this made it extremely easy for the smaller squares to fall out of the box. Fortunately all my small squares (4) were all there, but there was a possibility for them to become missing.

il y a plusieurs grosseurs donc utile pour des travaux autant petit que plus gros. Et le fait qu'il y est quatre équerres de chaque grandeur est un plus.

I am a weekend warrior woodworker and am always seeking ways to better align my corners when assembling workpieces. I have small clamps, corner clamps, etc. but they can be cumbersome and difficult to set up. I use these with some small clamps and they hold my pieces effectively and with less effort than previously mentioned options. Being square in woodworking is one challenge that, if not overcome, will result in all kinds of issues later in the project. These have been a welcome addition to my toolbox, and I often use them. I would recommend them to friends and family.
