This is 5” as shown in pic but the outside width is 6 1/2”. It’s a perfect fit and the design gives the horse comfort. Chrome plated made to last and resist corrosion. The copper center will not rust and it doesn’t pinch. Good for training or just riding as I’m currently doing. The price is fair and recommend.

Nice, heavyweight bit. I like the copper mouthpiece. The bit itself seems well made. I worked it around in my hands and did not feel any pinching at all. This seems to be a good all around bit. Good price, too.

Very nice quality. The swivels are very smooth and finish is very shined and nice. Everything is as it should be and as desired. I purchased as a spare bit for a back up bridle.

I really love this chrome plated western snaffle bit. The chrome makes it rust resistant which is promising for longevity. The chrome actually makes the bit more comfortable because of it's sleek surface that rubs on the horses mouth. I like that the copper midder induces comfort on my mares jaw and it increases salivation which makes it comfortable enough for a green horse to accept. It's perfect for starters. I love that the design inclusive of the chrome plate is sought out with keeping the horse in mind because alot of bits are not chrome plated. I will definitely be using this brand for my future bits. I most definitely recommend this bit. Great value for the product and very much affordable!

We got the 5-inch BRINGERPET snaffle bit for our 3-year old 15-hand quarter horse Tony and it fit him well. It appears to be well-made chrome plated with a copper middle and shouldn't rust. Tony responds well to it and seems very comfortable wearing it. A good bit at a reasonable price.

This is advertised as 6.5" bit, which would fit a very large/draft cross horse. The bit I received is 5". Otherwise it is heavy and seems well made, though the finish could be a little smoother in some areas.
