I bought these because I take occasional long road trips with my grandkids aged 8 and 11. We never use electronics, but instead enjoy the scenery and activities like scavenger hunts. They were curious when these were delivered today while they were visiting. We tried out a few questions and enjoyed hearing each others' answers. Our first question card was "What is your highest priority in life?" First off, it was a good vocabulary lesson as they didn't know what priority meant. Then it was interesting how different their priorities were (car someday, house in the future) as youth from mine (family). Looking forward to taking these on a couple of our summer trips in a few weeks. They will be easy to toss in the glove box as they are the same size as playing cards.

When I opened the box for Bonding Miles, I was hoping for more than just a card game. Ideally I was looking for conversation starters with friends and ideas for icebreaker questions at work.The game comes with blue and pink cards, corresponding to “Traveling” and “Plans & Dreams.” Both sets of cards meet my criteria.Additionally there are no rules and you no need to keep the colors separated. These are simply a collection of accessible conversation prompts to get to know each other better.In other words, exactly what I was hoping for.

I ordered this WELL BALANCED Bonding Miles – Road Trip Conversation Card Game for Kids, Teens & Adults, Car Game to take along on an upcoming long car trip.Our teenager is away at music camp this summer; it’s over 800 miles from our home, and my husband and I are driving out to see the final concert and bring him back to our home, at which point, he’s off to another music camp. We have over 1600 miles round trip to drive, and I’ve been looking for fun activities for the trip.This set of cards are intended to be conversation starters. The sales page calls this a game, but the box states, “no rules, no pressure, just great conversations”. There’s 100 cards, each designed to spark conversation in the car.The cards all have the same basic design in the back, but there are five different groups. The group title is on the back of the card: Express and Evolve, Family, Plans and Dreams, Traveling, and Self-Exploration, which I’m sure my teen will make a double entendre about when he hears the category.Each category has a range of questions, ranging from pretty basic to more thought provoking. I don’t know that we’ll play this non stop, but it seems like a good thing to have if conversation lags; pull out the deck and pull a card at random.The cards come in a cardboard box that’s small enough to easily tuck into a purse, backpack, or weekender. The sets of cards arrive in two decks that are wrapped in plastic. However, once you pull out the cards, it’s difficult to keep them organized by type. Each category has a different face color: blue, yellow, green, purple, and pink. I wish there were a way to keep the decks separate; we might be in the mood for traveling questions, for example, or not in the mood for questions about, say, plans and dreams. I could put each category in a zippie bag, but then they won’t fit in the case. It would be nice to have a way to separate out cards we’ve used from new ones, too.At the current price ($9.99) I think this is a fun inexpensive bring along for a long family road trip; the variety of starters are a good way to prime conversation. I’m not sure I would call this a game, but it’s a fun activity for a long trip that would also work well on a train or in a plane or waiting to board. You could even tuck this in your bag for Disney or theme parks, something to keep busy while waiting in line.

It's a great way to re-establish bonds between family members and/or close friends. There's a lot of joyful discussions to be had with this affordable deck of cards.The cards are thick and divided between five different colors/categories: the artist palette, light bulb, heart, star, and location pin.We've played where you can pick the category you want to answer and shuffling the deck to make it random. There are no set rules for playing. It's the perfect conversation starter.Highly recommended! Especially for those long trips where you don't want everyone glued to their phone.

Super cute and fun way to get conversations flowing! My husband and I live 5 hours from friends and family so we make road trips quite often. We play the old school alphabet game and point out license plates, but we've been playing these same ole games for the past 8 years and we needed something new. This little road trip/bonding game is the perfect solution and it helps us continue to get to know each other even after all these years! It's family friendly and would be fun with kids.

I purchased this and another version for my "game days" with students. The item arrived within communicated parameters. It was shipped well to protect it from handling and weather. The cards are sturdy; thick enough to handle a lot of use but thin enough to shuffle nicely. Topics/questions appear appropriate, but anyone purchasing should review all cards prior to use, as always. This will be a great addition to the "I earned a game day" pile of toys and games, providing students with a good, solid incentive to work toward a goal of self-care. It would be equally beneficial as part of a family relaxation/bonding/vacation experience. Recommend!

I ordered this because I have a few upcoming road trips with my “tween” boys and husband. I think these cards will be excellent conversation starters and out of the box entertainment for all of us. The cards are excellent quality and do not feel flimsy or cheap. They also have a shine to them and are a good thickness much like a deck of cards. The questions on the cards are very interesting and have a wide variety of topics that could be asked to other adults or children. I can’t wait to bring these on the road and hear what everyone’s responses will be!
