Simple ingredients wholesome is what I look for the healthiest I can find. I don’t mind if they arrive broken cause I break them up myself. My dog likes it better that way. I’m very happy with the product.

My dog is allergic to everything. Bought this since he can't have chicken. I also buy the beef. I wish this patty was big like the beef ones. My dog loves thus mixed with veggies.

My dog has always been on quality food. We’ve done Primal, Stella & Chewy’s. Nothing seemed to stop her itchy paws. She was always biting them. Recently she began to STINK & was really yeasty. I researched and found this brand with a single protein and nothing else. She is thriving on the Rabbit. No more itching, no more discolored fur, no more stink! I wish I’d found it sooner!

Everytime I order through Amazon, the product arrives all busted up. When I order direct from VE, all the food is intact. It doesn't matter too much since I break it apart for my pup to eat. She does prefer small dry crunchy pieces but she's no fan of powder which is most of my current bag. Just a word of caution since it ships in a soft envelope. VE is still amazing and healthy food!

I can't believe that this product is legal to sell in public. The minute I opened the bag, there was strong foul-smelling from the bag. I fed my dog 5 times and every time he finished earing he started to have diarrhea. Each time I only gave him one peice. I stopped after 5th feeding. Surprisingly his diarrhea stopped. I went to a local pet shop and got another brand food. My dog is okay now. Again, I can't believe this dog food has a such good review when it almost killed my dog. Please be careful.

Have been feeding this product for about 10 years. I also use the mini nibs and a product from another brand that is comparable. Today the product arrived in its bag, no.box or packing, with my address sticker on the bag stuffed into my mailbox with other packages. What should have been patties are smashed and not countable let alone whole. Beyond disappointment. Vita essentials is not available in my town. This experience has just ended my business of purchasing patties via Amazon

For me, feeding raw to my dogs is the way to go. Due to the pandemic or other reasons, it’s harder to find frozen raw food for my dogs and sometimes one may get picky and won’t eat. With freeze dried raw, it’s easier to adjust the portions without waste and shelf life is longer as well.
