I loved this thing but it only lasted a couple of years, eventually breaking without specific cause. I think the engineering is just a little too minimalist to withstand long-term, regular use. The other day it inexplicably started wobbling because the loops where the arm connects to the stem cap cracked. Doesn't seem like this should be an every-couple-years purchase.

Ok. About two months in the bracket cracked. This happened with normal use - just a bottle and water. It was nice while it lasted.

I don’t often write reviews, but this water bottle adapter is great.While are times such as riding my full suspension MTB on dirt trails, while on vacation that my Camel Bak is my go since heat, exertion, and time play a factor in how much water I need or want to carry.For riding the same bike on city streets and paved bike paths I know I’m never far some water and if needed a phone call away from getting a ride. This is where this adapter comes to play.Between the mount for my phone, for GPS, bell, and light there just wasn’t room for additional add ons.The underseat bag I have isn’t big enough for more than one of my lock sets, with bike thefts on the rise I wanted to add a folding bar lock the bracket to hold it onto my bike took the spot for my water bottle.I tried other top tube pouches with water bottle carrier along with other carriers.I saw a mount similar for phones and wondered what if they made one for water bottles i came across this adapter.Took me less than 10 minutes to remove the cap, install the adapter and my take apart my old water bottle cage and put together. My water bottle cage can hold a 32 ounce Contico bottle.It’s great so far I love it, water bottle is handy easy to get to the mount is stable haven’t had to tighten anything on it since I got it adjusted to me.It looks good being over the top of the tube it doesn’t interfere with movement of the handle bar.Weight is negligible in my opinion, quick and easy to remove when I hit the dirt trails.I totally recommend this adapter

This is an absolutely great product. I bought it back in 2021 & have had zero issues with it. It is very well built and holds in place with any movement. Provided you haven't tightened down properly. I got it because my bottle mount on my bike is at the crotch & my handlebars had no room for another accessory. The only thing I would suggest. Is if you mount it center line with your bike like I did. Have a well insulated bottle because condensation will drip.

The best mount in my mind. My single speed had no bottle mount and this makes it very easy to grab a drink. Great purchase. 👍

I'm 50 and I ride very upright on my bike, so when my drink bottle cage is mounted on the down tube it's a bit of a stretch, and usually causes a wobble or two. As a result, I tend to put off taking a swig and end up dehydrated. But I don't have room on my handlebar for any more stuff, so I couldn't get a handlebar cage mount. This device solves all my problems. Plus it was easy to install and seems very sturdy. Win-win! Very happy and would definitely recommend it.

I bought one of these more than a year ago and it worked/still works fine. I bought a second one 2 months ago. I was riding and it cracked and dropped my water bottle and cage; fortunately I was paying attention so went back and grabbed them. It's not an expensive item but 2 months isn't very long so I clicked on Amazon's product support button and got an email address for the company. Four hours later I had received a response! This was late at night Ca. time. I had sent a copy of my invoice and a couple pictures and the rep apologized for the failure, said they did indeed warranty their products, and asked if i wanted a refund or replacement. I had a new one in my hands 2 days later. While the product itself works as intended and is just fine, the company is truly superior. I can only wish all companies were as responsive and concerned with customer satisfaction. I'll be buying more Vincita items when I need them.

I have an e bike and there were no standard screws for a bottle holder. My son recommended this one and after the first one arrived damaged, I ordered another. Was refunded within 2 hours so very pleased with the service and product.

This mount is designed for use with a standard 1-1/8" Aheadset stem, which is standard on most quality adult bikes built since 1995. The mechanical design is well-thought out and allows a great range of adjustability. I'm using this on an indoor trainer, so I can't speak to sturdiness on the trail, but it appears to be robust enough for road use. 100% aluminum construction (no plastic) - the machining is just OK and the part appears to be powder coated. At this price point, I would have expected an anodized finish.This does require 3mm, 4mm and 5mm allen keys or wrenches to install, which are NOT included. The manufacturer also did not include the M6x1.0 bolt to mount to the star nut - you have to re-use the one from the stem cap that came with your bike. At this price point, the various cost-cutting deserved a 1-star deduct.One last note, the 1-star and 2-star reviewers tried to install this on an old-style quill stem, for which it is not designed. Make certain you have an Aheadset style stem.

I purchased a new Giant ebike with a step thru frame. If I mounted a bottle cage on the seat or down tube, it would have negated the purpose of the open design (ease of getting on and off the bike). This handy gadget was a great solution. It actually took about two minutes to install. I tried several different positions, and finally swung it to the right side for more clearance. It's light but plenty strong, and a good value. Very clever design. The weight of a full bottle doesn't affect the steering at all.

I mounted this on a recumbent trike because I had no other room for mounting anyplace else that would be convenient. Easy to install and adjust to the desired position. I then took a 45 mile ride over a gravel trail, with too many bumps, and it stayed in position as it should. After the ride I checked and all the attachment and adjusting screws were still tight.
