Anyone with network or sound equipment mounted in a rack needs to get cables from the front patch panel to the back for the equipment connections. These provide a way to cover the opening between equipment and still allow the cables through. It's got bristles like a paint brush that easily move to the side for a cable and help to block some dust from getting in the rack.Over-all a handy and fairly low-priced way to pretty-up the rack.

I got this to cleanup my home server rack. The unit is solid and as good as units I have used at work. The brush is ‘thick’ allowing it to close around the cables once installed. I had no problem installing it to my 19” rack with the included screws and screw nuts. As an aside, if someone wanted to modify one of these 1U brush plate, the brush appears to be attached with 3 small screws in the back and slid into its cage. So it could be removed and the 1U frame could be used to 3D print another face to slide into the top/bottom slot.Summary: A solid plate, with included mounting hardware. The brush plate is made of premium material. I highly recommend.
