tool is incredibly important. This compass has been a fantastic addition to my gear.The universal compatibility is great; I've used it in my truck for off-road adventures and also on my small fishing boat. The adjustable mounting bracket and visible lubber line make it so easy to get a clear direction and read the data quickly. I recently took my boat out to a new lake, and this compass provided fast response and precise navigation, helping me stay on course even when my GPS signal was weak. It's incredibly useful for ensuring I always know my direction, especially in unfamiliar territory.The stickable base is a brilliant feature – it was so easy to attach it securely to my car dashboard and also to a flat surface on my boat. It feels very sturdy and I don't have to worry about it moving around. Made of quality plastic material, it seems durable and built for long-time use. This compass has given me so much confidence during my travels, making my outdoor excursions safer and more enjoyable.

This item is currently labelled as “Vebstlife Boat, Boating Dashboard Suction, Electronic Adjustable Night Vision for Boat Vehicle”, and I’m a little confused because it is neither a suction mount or electronic.The compass is attached via double sided 3M tape. The tape though doesn’t have much to grab onto on the bottom of the compass because of how the bottom has a plastic ring pattern. So although it seems to be attached right now, I don’t think it’s going to stay attached for a long time or withstand heavy waves.There’s nothing electronic about this compass. It’s a float style compass, that is designed to be mounted upright. Mounting it on the side causes the ball inside to get caught on the outer plastic casing, creating false bearings. Though I will say that when it is upright, it rotates smoothly and seems fairly accurate to my electronic compass. The dial is however very legible and the red bearing marker is bold and long enough for quick references.As far as I can tell there is no “night vision” (whatever that means for a compass), and the dial does not glow in the dark. You would not want to rely on this at night.I think overall this is an ok compass to add to a boat for day time navigation or as a back up. Unfortunately it misses the mark on so many points that I don’t think I will be using it on my boat, but may add it to one of my daughters toy vehicles so she can learn about compass directions.

Just about anywhere in my car it won't work. The metal messes up the compass and it won't change direction. Useless unfortunately.
