Installation:For the Fender Champ XD owners, this was my first time replacing the factory tube set. Took me a few minutes to realize that Fender has these metal rings that hold onto the larger tubes so I had to "unspring" them while lifting the old tubes to remove. Putting the new ones in doesn't require this.Sound:These tubes sounded fatter to me and clearer. Not sure if the newness causes this or just the difference in brands. Personally I like the sounds these make as it makes my Strat sound bluesier and anything crunchy sound more full. Unfortunately my Yngwie licks still sound like crap but it may not be because of the tubes.

These tubes shipped very well packaged and arrived as described. It gave my custom hand wired Super Champ style amp a fuller tone and a smoother overdrive that works with my pedalboard.

The tubes arrived super fast and my Fender Superchamp XD sounds excellent with these tubes. I hear a slightly darker tone with this tube set over the oem tubes, which is what I wanting to achieve.
