Works great, the added volume knob is a nice touch. The mic input has some buzz if you use a really sensitive microphone, but I was using a contact mic, and this is designed for regular vocal mics anyway.

As a DJ, I use Virtual DJ, and this USB soundcard now allows me to hear the headphones output clearly while mixing. And the volume knob is a great addition! Thank you :) 5 stars!

Va bien, aunque todavía no le he metido mucha caña. La compré para conectar un micro, pero los auriculares también funcionan bien.Lo que no se es cuanto durará, actualizaré la reseña si deja de funcionar.

Allow me to use my mics with a 3.5 mm jack on Zoom / Go to Mtg / etc calls. Saves me from buying new USB mics that aren't as good as my older shotgun, hand held, lavalier mics that deliver much better sound with far less echo. It does help to understand the inputs on it - especially since the middle input is marked with a headphone icon, but it's really a TRRS (Tip-Ring-Ring-Sleeve) jack for a headset with microphone for that kind of plug. These combos or mics were generally for recording on iPhones (the ones that had a headphone jack).I got it, just plugged a mic in, and nothing... I almost sent it back. I used a mic with a TRRS jack in the icon marked with a mic, and it didn't work. But - after reading the reviews, I plugged it into the middle input (marked with a headphone!) and bingo...Speaking of icons and markings, unlike the very clear images on Amazon, the actual markings for the controls etc. are very faint - or I'm getting really really older... maybe both. The other improvement would be a longer cord to plug; at 4 inches, it's short. It does work from a hub, and that helps. For the cost, I'm very pleased that it works as well as it does.

Bought after searching other interesting & tempting options. Having only $17 to spend was a bummer & a blessing, because this little TechRise card was just what was needed for me. My TV has no headphone jack, & is not so smart (for reference Toshiba 42xV545U) Cannot bear to get rid of it, given to me by my deceased sister. At night playing games, listening to music, or watching a movie, has to be done @ low volume- (out of respect- not everyone loves Metal) But it sucks when favorite jam comes on, or can't hear dialog, or when that proverbial bastard shoots me because their footsteps/direction of gunfire could not be heard. (For general reference, headset is hyperX cloud stinger), yes- El Cheapo,3.5mm connector, with on-ear volume slider, well made though. The Nitty-Gritty: Plugged into the Steam Link straight out of the package, plugged headset's microphone & speaker connecter into the card. Success- Well kinda- Mic is not working or "the tweak" is yet to be discovered by me, or offered by Steam. The setting Is there in the Steam Link. Maybe more on this in a future edit- as microphone use was not my goal to begin with, & am a man of few words, any-what. Edit re: Mic- Yes, it is now working & has been since the Realtek Audio settings were changed by myself to reflect the result wanted, a microphone! Nitty-Gritty: the volume was lower than expected or wanted to bother with- but don't really mind tweaking settings if the end result is beneficial. Solved: From The Living Room. Right click Audio Manager, left click Audio Devices, left click Communications tab, selected Do Nothing. Wham!! The volume made me jump because it was late @ time of experiment, - Cyber Acoustics 2.1speakers were plugged in with volume @ max, TechRise card volume was @ max too. Success! Nitty-Gritty: some complain about the led lights- personally find them pleasant, not too bright & not too dark. Thus far, Only 1 Dislikes for me were 1.The volume knob on the TechRise card: It does not rise (pun?) above the face of the deck as much as personally desired & was very slick to my dry callused fingertips, as there's no real texture to the knob itself. Also no visible dot to determine volume level on the knob. Both these issues were solved carefully with cheap rotary tool that came with engraving and diamond shaping bits- you know because un-cut diamonds are just laying all over the place in my hut. Practice your engraving on that old inkjet printer you hate 1st, i did not. You could also swallow your spit & use a red hot needle or some sand paper instead, to get some more texture on it. One more thing is that there is a noticeable ?buffer?/ dead space, almost quarter of inch, before volume actually kicks in on the knob, as you turn it from lowest position. My current thought is that this is negligible, that said, do chime in regarding this matter, should you be so compelled, please. Endurance withstanding if TechRise (did i say your name enough) card holds up, perhaps more customization down the road. One last thing to make me smile is that i can switch the channel on my Tv to my security camera channel and the music is still going as i watch the freak-show outside march by, seriously, More entertaining than over air tv.. Time to enjoy my living room.

I'm always wary of inexpensive items like this - lots of promises and something about the description nearly always falls short of the promise. Happy to say that this product delivers everything it promised and everything that I needed. I'm using this in conjunction with my USB C hub to allow me to use a single USB C cord connected to my laptop for power input, audio output, mouse connection and HDMI to external monitor my thin laptop. So I can finally can plug in/out quickly.I'd previously used a 3.5mm splitter to send music/voice to an external sound system and a smallish subwoofer - providing great sound for hours spent at the desk. But plugging in/out the 3.5mm to the laptop for audio always triggered the subwoofer and made loud and unwelcome popping/booming sounds. Those days are gone! Now plugging my laptop in/out at my desk is a single USB C operation and I have no unwanted noise or pops. And my splitter, a frequent culprit that would occasionally cut sound from one side or the other, is banished to the spare parts drawer.I read the reviews before ordering and I agree with other posters that the sound quality is incredible for such an inexpensive item. Unlike some reviewers, I have much more volume volume than I can use. Perhaps those reviewers don't know how to properly adjust volume upstream from the USB Sound Card on their PC/Mac? That's the only explanation I can come up with. The device is terrific. But it isn't perfect. Here's what I would change:1.) Make the blue light solid rather than flashing. No one likes flashing lights from a device that is working normally. 2.) Add length to the USB cable. Or, include a simple extension for those who need more length. 3.) Change your product photos to real photos rather than CAD drawings. Especially remove the strange image showing this device alongside a black and white drawings of a splitter - that has nothing to do with this and implies the USB cord might be removable from the USB Sound Card (it's not removable). 4.) Re-write your description to better explain this device and what it does. You are under-selling it. I couldn't be sure that both 3.5mm outputs would work simultaneously. The do work simultaneously - just as I needed. Thanks for reading. And thanks to the manufacturer for such a great device!
