Both terminals are sized for same size post. In America the negative post is smaller so that you cannot put it on the wrong side. You cannot get these tight enough to to stay on the negative post. You can easily pull it off the post by hand even after the tightening bolt is bottomed out. Complete waste of my time and money.

I was needing a way to attach a wiring harness to my vehicle and the battery was a side terminal only so I upgraded the battery to a dual terminal and added these to the top studs making it so much easier to attach the harness to the screw post on the terminals.So if you are getting something like a Harmar lift installed on your vehicle these will help with the installation. Cheers
