Caretakers of indoor cats should largely agree: claw-clipping time is traumatic and difficult, but necessary for the preservation of your carpet and furniture.My cats don't like having their claws clipped, so I need to restrain them with one arm across their torso and one hand doing the clipping. The clipping hand needs to switch from right to left, when I switch from their left paws to their right. Unfortunately, the standard talon-scissors type clippers work like human scissors: pretty well for right-handed use, and rubbish for left-handed use.These clippers are perfect. 1. They work left-handed or right-handed perfectly well (as long as I flip them over). 2. The USB-C-rechargeable light is a thoughtful addition, as I don't need to alert the cats to my plans by turning on the overhead lights to full-bright beforehand. 3. The plastic guard captures the clippings and flips open for easy emptying. 4. These are really sharp, so the clipping is trauma-and-drama-free.For the price you'd pay for a standard scissors-type clipper, I highly recommend trying these instead.

These clippers seem well made. The cutter is sharp, the light is a nice touch! There is a locking mechanism and a container that catches the clippings. For $10 I’m impressed at the quality and usefulness.They come with a small UBC charger, the fact that it doesn’t require a random single use type charger is a plus. Would recommend!
