My son has always wanted a bunk bed, so I ordered this one for him, although it did require a new mattress since the bottom bunk is full size with a twin on the top.The box was crazy heavy, but things seemed to be packed well and there was no damage to any of the parts in shipping. It included all the hardware plus some extra bolts, which was much appreciated. Two hex keys were included, so no additional tools were necessary to assemble. The finish is just matte black, which my son liked. My only complaint would be that there were a few small sharp spots of solder where the top bunk was welded together, which I removed with a small file. I would probably take a half star off for that, but that’s not an option, and it seems pretty good otherwise. The instructions were very good, although they did not mention the included washers, but that’s pretty straightforward for most people to understand what to do with them.Overall, it seems to be fairly sturdy, and my son has been greatly enjoying his new bed so far!

I recently purchased the Miscoos Metal Twin Over Full Bunk Bed, and overall, it’s a solid and reliable choice for maximizing space.Pros:✅ Heavy-Duty & Sturdy: The metal frame feels strong and stable, with minimal wobbling even with movement. It supports both mattresses well and is designed to handle regular use.✅ Great Space Saver: The twin-over-full design is perfect for kids' rooms, guest rooms, or shared spaces. The extra full-size bottom bunk makes it more versatile than standard twin-over-twin beds.✅ Safety Features: The built-in safety guardrails on the top bunk provide good protection, and the sturdy ladder feels secure.✅ Sleek & Modern Look: The metal frame has a clean, modern design that blends well with different room styles.Cons:⚠️ Assembly Takes Time: The assembly process is tedious, and some of the pieces take effort to align properly. Having an extra pair of hands helps speed things up.⚠️ Ladder Placement: The ladder is fixed in place, which might not be ideal for all room setups.Final Thoughts:The Miscoos Metal Twin Over Full Bunk Bed is sturdy, space-efficient, and safe, making it a great choice for families or shared rooms. Assembly takes patience, but once set up, it’s a strong and reliable bed frame.

I specifically bought this because it was heavy duty. It was not. If my son even plays on the top bunk I’m worried the metal will break. The side rail that you hold on to as you pull yourself already seems to be breaking at the weld point. The screws easily stripped, some parts were hard to fit together correctly. The ladder hurts so bad on my feet to use I had to pull a step ladder up to the bunk beds just to make the top one. My teenager will be home in a couple days and I am embarrassed to even gift her this. If she wouldn’t be home so soon and I had the money to pay a handy man to help me take this apart then put a better one together I would return this junk. I’m am thoroughly disappointed and sad this is what I am stuck with for my kids. I feel like I just threw money away and will have to save enough to buy something else before this breaks.

This bed seems solid. It took about 2 hours to put together by myself. A lot of reviews complain about the instructions, and I have to agree. To be fair, most furniture instructions are pictorial only. Pay close attention to the little details (like the position of holes you are not currently using) and you should be fine. I only had to take one piece back apart to flip over, and it was pretty deep into the assembly process, but it was not difficult. Looking back, I can see that the instructions showed the correct way, but it's easy to miss while you're in the middle of putting it together.I am still awaiting the mattresses so I haven't tested it out yet, but I can tell it's solid. I got it for my grandkids and it feels plenty strong enough for them. The shipping weight is 72 lbs.I think the quality is in line with the pricing. Overall, I am happy with it.UPDATEI am updating this review now that I have the mattresses in. I used a 3/16th hardboard under the mattresses after reading the recommendation of another reviewer. I am very satisfied; the only exception would be the rail height on the top bunk.I used 10" mattresses for the upper and lower. For the lower that is fine, but for the upper, it does not have enough rail height to prevent someone from rolling out. If you used a 6" mattress, there will be about 6" of rail height. I'll have to put up a removeable rail.If you are placing against a wall, put some furniture sliders under the legs so you can more easily get to the wall side.
